We understand that life is hectic and that it’s very difficult to find time to nurture yourself, so we created Dorset House as a haven from the world where relaxation comes first.
We’re now taking this further still with our wellness breaks; a chance for you to escape from the world, focus on creating healthy habits, and relax deeply in the company of like-minded people.
Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. We will focus on yoga and meditation with morning and evening practice. A workshop on gut health and fermenting will inspire you to supercharge your eating habits and Bullet Journaling will help you organise your creative energies and workload; freeing up your mind for increased fulfillment.
For those that fancy it, we lead sunrise sea swims or runs (or you could benefit from a lie in if you prefer!).
Dorset House is an award winning luxury bed and breakfast overlooking the sea at Lyme Regis. Rooms in the Grade II listed Georgian villa are furnished in a stylish and contemporary manner with every detail considered. Bedding is luxury goose down and Egyptian Cotton. Bathrooms have underfloor heating and organic toiletries.
British Wheel of Yoga
British Wheel Of Yoga teacher, Sam Neal, teaches popular daily yoga classes in Dorset and East Devon. Sam also teaches Thai yoga, meditation, and she is a qualified fitness instructor with many years of experience. Sam's classes are suitable for all, including those with no yoga experience, as postures and techniques can be modified. At Dorset House, Sam’s early morning yoga class is the perfect start to the day. We will wake up the mind, body, and spirit with a mindful, heart felt session, practicing flowing energizing postures, linked in with the rhythm of the breath to build strength.
