This retreat will take place at Batosic Bed and Breakfast in Makarska, Croatia. Makarska is the tourist Mecca of central Dalmatia. Split, the Dalmatian capital is only an hour's drive north away, while Dubrovnik is a two-hour ride south along the spectacular Adriatic highway. Due to its mild climate, Makarska is a popular vacation destination from June to September. Fishermen's nights, the summer carnival, open-air concerts, and exhibitions are all a part of a rich palette of attractions Makarska has in store for its visitors.
An unforgettable sight upon arrival in Makarska is the Mount Biokovo, part of the Biokovo Nature Park, rising above the town. It offers incredible vistas of the islands and photo opportunities for novices and seasoned photographers alike. It is accessible both on foot (a beautiful two to three-hour hike) and by car (45-minute drive).
All of these are free and open to the general public. For day-long island-hopping, Makarska offers a veritable fleet of tourist boats waiting to take you on affordable day-trips to nearby islands. Batosic also offers private boat trips, aboard their eight-meter motorsailer, MacGregor 26X.
During this retreat, you will be served fresh and healthy daily breakfast consisting of coffee or tea, juices, fresh rolls, butter, jam, honey, eggs, fruit, cereal, yogurts, cold cuts, and vegetables.
Spa treatments can be booked at additional costs at a local spa center.
