Becky et Elise vous invitent à participer à leur retraite de yoga d'été ! Hébergement

The accommodation at this venue is arranged in a traditional bunkhouse style. There are two sizes of dormitories - four beds and 12 beds. There is a 12 bed dorm, available to women only. The four beds dormitories have two bunk beds and can be booked for three to four persons if you are traveling in a group. The accommodation is basic, and all rooms have access to shared bathroom facilities. Bedding is provided, but you will need to bring your own towel.

Programme

Enjoy a packed schedule including yoga classes (outdoors in good weather), meditation, relaxation walks along the ridgeway, opportunity to book a massage, fun creative workshops and much more. You will be joined again by the Beechen family caterers, and Kathy will be cooking up more of her much loved, homemade vegetarian treats. Each retreat has a theme running though the weekend such as Mudra and Bandha, Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, and The five Sheaths of Consciousness. The theme for this retreat will be The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

Outdoor activities are weather dependent, BE Yoga Retreats will try to run as many activities at the outdoor as possible, however in bad weather they will be run inside in the studio.

Professeurs

Elise Beechen
Originally from Devon, Elise is a qualified teacher of yoga and dance and holds the UK's highest qualification in sports and remedial massage. Elise has been practicing yoga for over ten years and since becoming a group fitness instructor in 2006, she has coordinated and taught fitness programs in health clubs and resorts across the UK and Europe. A patient and enthusiastic teacher, Elise is deeply fascinated by the many physical and psychological benefits of yoga and is keen to share her knowledge and experience.

Lieu du séjour

The retreat takes place at The Court Hill Centre that is beautiful, rural and tranquil, located in the Vale of the Whitehorse in Wantage, Oxfordshire. Surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful countryside, it is the perfect place to unwind and escape the stresses of everyday life.

Repas

The menu is lovingly prepared by Becky and Elise's parents and experienced retreat caterers Kathy and Bob. They provide delicious home cooked vegetarian cuisine, always healthy but very tasty.

Activités et lieux à visiter

In between the activities, there is some free time for you to relax, during which you can go for a walk, relax in the grounds with a cup of tea or a good book, do a little shopping at the BE Yoga Retreats shop where there are homemade yoga related items for sale.

You may also like to book a massage with Elise, an experienced and highly skilled massage therapist. The 40-minute treatments at the shorter weekend retreats cost 40 GBP and include:

  • Relaxing full body massage
  • Deep tissue massage - either back, neck, and shoulders or hips, legs, and feet

Comment se rendre sur place ?

Arrival by train

The Court Hill Centre is two miles south of Wantage just off the A338 Wantage to Hungerford road, and a quarter mile from the Ridgeway National Trail. Nearby train stations are at Didcot and Oxford, and there are good road links via the M4 and M40.
