During this retreat, you will be staying at Atmashree Yoga,comfortable hotels, guest houses, and lodges in trekking routes.1st, 2nd, and 7th night will be at Atmashree Yoga, 3rd night in Ulleri, 4th night in Ghorepani, 5th night in Tadapani, and 6th night in Sarangkot.

Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking, also popularly known as Annapurna Sunrise Trekking or Annapurna Panorama Trekking. It is one of the most popular and relatively easy treks that meander through the beautiful ethnic villages of Annapurna region.

Invigorating through some rhododendron forests, Poon Hill trekking in Nepal will let you feel the Himalayan Panorama while providing you the opportunities to get close to the local Poonhill trek. It is a short and relatively easy trek into the Annapurna region. This trek is suitable for those who do not have much time to spend and people with a burning desire to observe the beauty of snow-capped mountains.

The viewpoint on Poonhill is 3210 meters, it offers the best view of mountains and sunrise. Dense rhododendron forests full of birds and imaging valleys make your trip more enjoyable. Mount Dhaulagiri ranges and Mount Annapurna, as well as others higher mountains including Annapurna south, Annapurna two, three, four, Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal, Barasikhar, Nilgiri, Tukuche Peak, Hiunchuli, and Manaslu ranges, can be seen from this trek.

As the sun touches the snow-capped summits, the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8167 meters) and Annapurna (8091 meters), along with a maze of other peaks, slowly begin to appear like magic before our eyes.

You will be staying at comfortable hotels, guest houses, and lodges during the trip. The Entire tour will be well guided by best team and efforts, as well as transportation. Moreover, a comprehensive medical kit will be there for minor health problems such as cold, fever, diarrhea, and headache.

Important Information

  • Please mail passport size photograph & passport copy to prepare the permit card for the trek
  • You can store your luggage in Atmashree Yoga center

  • Yoga trek is moderate.
  • Please have chocolates, nuts & other light edible things on the way to boost up yourself.
  • Have warm clothes for yourself as it cold in the morning & evening
  • Please have your own trekking poles & shoes with you.
  • Keep some money for your personal expenses
  • Have your own Torch Light, sunscreen & raincoat
  • Have a water bottle or thermos to store water.
  • Accommodations are simple, food can be ordered from the menu in the trekking routes.Staying at Atmashree is included in the package.
  • Atmashree Yoga Retreat strongly recommends you to join our short meditation and yoga retreat program before you take up this trekking program so that you have enough time to prepare your body, mind, and spirit to remain healthy, conscious, active, and not suffer from high altitude sickness.
  • Alcohol, tobacco, smoking and other illicit drugs are not allowed during this retreat or on the premises.
  • During the course, a vegetarian diet is to be followed to experience the holistic and Ayurvedic lifestyle provided by the retreat center.(please let us know in advance if you have any food restrictions)
  • Our course payments are pre-contracted.In any circumstance, the fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable, unless the course is canceled by the yoga retreat center. The fees are also non-negotiable.
  • You are earnestly requested to kindly respect your fellow students, teachers, people and the Nepali culture.
  • The management reserves the right to terminate/ expel any participants who do not abide by the above rules are disruptive or abusive to the place, teachers or other participants. (which may include, by way of example, violence, excessive use of bad language, threatening behavior or inappropriate sexual activities). In the event of a participants being expelled due to a breach of the rules, no refund of fees shall be given.

Ghorepani-Poon Hill trek

During this retreat you will experience a four days trek in the Annapurna mountain range. It is one of the most popular trek in Nepal and you will reach the altitude of 3200 meters. You will cross historical mountain villages and be amazed with fantastic views as you climb the stairs and walk along the path.

Bihar Yoga Bharti (Satyananda Yoga)
Atram is grown up in a yogic environment since his childhood. He started his yoga journey at the age of 12. Later he went to Bihar Yoga Bharati, the first yoga university in the world, for four months to be certified with Yogic studies certificate in yogic science. Now, Atram is a Hatha yoga Teacher in a centre and is a very good tabla (drum) player which is a classical musical instrument played mostly in India and Nepal.
Mantra Prem
Bihar school of yoga (Satyananda Yoga)
Mantra came to yoga and spiritual life at the age of 17. After completing his school, he went to Bihar School of Yoga (Satyananda yoga) Munger, where he stayed in ashram environment participating in ashram routine and lifestyle for five years. During this period, he got initiated into Karma Sannyasa. Mantra learned different aspects of yoga such as Hatha yoga, Mantra yoga, Bhakti yoga, Raja yoga, Kirtans, Bhajans, and more. He also introduces different musical instrument such as harmonium, singing bowl, drum and cymbals to his students to deepen the experience of yoga and its practices.

Comment se rendre sur place ?

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) in Kathmandu. From there, you can take a domestic flight and arrive at Pokhara Airport (PKR).

Arrival by taxi

Once you have reached Kathmandu, please book a taxi and ask the driver to drop you at Atmashree Yoga Retreat in Pokhara. The distance from Kathmandu to Pokhara is 200 kilometers and the taxi fare is from 100 to 120 USD. It will be a wonderful trip of six hours witnessing the beauty of mountains, rivers, hills, and many more.

Arrival by bus

Please get a bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara bus station. They operate on a daily basis from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and the trip costs around 10 to 15 USD. Then, after reaching Pokhara, get a taxi from Pokhara bus station to Atmashree Yoga Retreat.
