Come and embrace the New Moon's energy of quiet introspection and dive deep into relaxation. Nourish yourselves with seasonal, freshly prepared food and practice soulful, nurturing yoga to soothe and unwind your bodies. The weekend will consist of a range of moon-inspired practices including slow, deep Restorative yoga, yoga Nidra, and mindful Lunar flows that will be suitable for all levels. There will also be talking circles, a releasing and intention setting fire ritual, and a gong bath.

During this retreat, you will be accommodated in 42 Acres, nestled within a secluded Somerset valley, surrounded by 700 acres of ancient forest and wild meadows. Through centuries, 42 Acres has evolved into a retreat space. Seven hundred acres of ancient forest encircle the main house, originally built as a dairy farm in the 1800s.
42 Acres can accommodate up to twenty-four people. It has 11 bedrooms rooms in total, eight in the main house and three in the deer cottages. Towels and hairdryers are provided in all bedrooms.
If you are sharing with someone, please let Amanda Wilkes Yoga know their name when you book. If you're coming on your own, Amanda Wilkes Yoga will make sure you share a room with someone you will get along with.
Cozy twin rooms are located in the main house and has a shared bathroom. These rooms have ample storage, rugs for winter, and personal reading lights.
Elegant double bedrooms has en suite shower rooms and ample storage.
The master suite of the house, the Frieda suite, has a super-king bed, walk in dressing room, and a beautiful view of the 42 Acres landscape. The large en suite bathroom has a standalone bath, walk in shower, and plenty of room to wander about in.
Amanda is a yoga teacher and holistic therapist based in Whitton.
Candida Valentino originally trained and worked as a visual artist and costume designer for dance and opera. She then had her own sound transformation in 1991 and started working with toning, overtoning and voice work as a tool for healing. Candida currently works as a Chavutti Thirumal massage therapist, overtone singer, and Tibetan singing bowl and gong practitioner. She uses healing sounds both in individual sessions as well as in concerts around the U.K and in Europe.
This retreat will take place in Somerset, UK.
You will be provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily during this retreat. All are hand-prepared vegetarian meals, mostly sourced from local, artisan producers. Afternoon snacks as well as unlimited water, ground coffee, and Pukka herbal teas are also included in this retreat. If you have any dietary requirements, please let Amanda Wilkes Yoga know at the time of booking.
During your free time, you may opt to experience reflexology and Indian head massage, both of which are deeply relaxing and balancing treatments and the perfect compliment to a weekend of well-being and self-care. Suzanne Saville will be your therapist for the weekend.
