La formation de yoga ashtanga vinyasa de 200 h (premières séries) sera supervisée par Namito. Il connait parfaitement toutes les séries d'ashtanga vinyasa depuis des années, et est un disciple de BKS Iyengar. Il utilise son expérience et ses connaissances solides pendant la formation afin de transmettre les bases de la pratique du yoga ashtanga vinyasa, ainsi que des techniques d'alignement issues du style Iyengar.

Upon completion of this yoga teacher training, students will receive certificate affiliated with Yoga Alliance US and Yoga Alliance Professionals (Formerly Yoga Alliance UK). Registration with Yoga Alliance US and Yoga Alliance Professionals (Formerly Yoga Alliance UK) provides a globally recognized credential.

Course syllabus

  • Techniques, training, and practice
  • Learning to master and teach Ashtanga Vinyasa primary series
  • Theory and practice of mantras, kriyas, pranayamas, and various techniques of meditation
  • Asana practice is focused on developing the quality of body alignment, observation and sharpening awareness of deeper physiological processes while performing an asana.

Teaching methodology

  • Learning the art of alignment and hand on adjustment with the help of props
  • Workshops on demonstration of asanas, Restorative yoga, yoga for specific groups of people and yoga to deal with common ailments like joints pain, back pain, thyroid, diabetes, etc.
  • Qualities and conduct of a teacher while leading a class
  • Business skills on how to promote your yoga business in the world of web marketing
  • Conducting Vinyasa flow led classes with a touch of personal creativity
  • Anatomy and physiology
  • Learning about the musculoskeletal system with focus on bones, ligaments, origin & insertions of muscles with nerve supply.

Practicum

Students will be required to engage in self-study and submit daily & weekly assignments on the basis of the days lectures and discussions. There will be a practical and a theory exam at the end of the course to assess the students on their learning, practice and teaching during the one month teacher training course.

At the northern side of Chopdem river, Morjim is blessed with an abundant blossoming green environment and extraordinary wildlife in the form of Olive Ridley turtles. The center with its rooftop yogshala and the scenic view of the sparkling North Goa beach front provides an absolute sense of serenity and joy to all.

Please book your flight to arrive at Goa International Airport (Dabolim, GOI). Transfer to and from this airport can be arranged with an additional cost of 50 USD.

The Morjim beach is about 75 kilometers from the airport and 36 kilometers from the nearest major Railway Station, Pernem. It is quite conveniently connected via taxis and bus routes from most part of Goa, as well.
