    During this retreat, you will stay at Avataar Hotel, one of the top leading hotels in Thamel.

    Join a thrilling Nepal experience suited for students that have a certificate for 200 hours yoga teacher training program and practitioners who want to gain more knowledge in Vedanta philosophy and yoga. During this retreat, you will use yoga as practice to acclimatize to the altitude while deepening your understanding of yoga beyond the mat (Vedanta) with Swami Pujan (psychologist Stephan Kahlert) and asana practice (Darina).

    Three days of the yoga retreat will be dedicated to a local trek route starting from Nagarkot. See some of the most stunning views of the Himalayas, its sunrises and sunsets with no other choice just to experience the Present moment.

    Other special activities like Biodanz and Osho meditations are included.

    You will visit the ancient Newar City (known as the city of devotees) and Bhaktapur (a UNESCO site) which was deeply affected by an earthquake. You have the option to donate and bring smiles to the not so fortunate kids living in a local orphanage.

    • Darina Samuel

      Darina used to organize free yoga in the park and private yoga courses as well as teaching body balance program in United Kingdom. Later on, she saw the results of the yoga practice and started to discover how to unblock physical and emotional knots through Vin Yin style of practice and active and still meditation. Her passion for traveling led her to Thailand, where she did some further training in yoga therapy, alignment, and Reiki with various international teachers. Darina has been teaching anatomy and yoga asanas in 200-hour yoga teacher training for the last two years.

    • Swami Pujan

      Swami Pujan (Stephan Kahlert) worked as a psychologist and therapist for many years in Australia and is now settled in Koh Phagan, Thailand, where students from all over the world visit him. He is a student and teacher of Advaita Vedanta and has been travelling all over Asia and India to conduct trainings and workshops for many years. His mission is to make philosophy alive and relevant in our day-to-day life and he would like to bring across the deepest yogic understanding in a language that is easily absorbed and understood by Western students.

    The tour will start and finish in Kathmandu. In-between you shall travel to Nagarkot via Newari kingdom Bhaktapur and your three-day trek will be in the Nagarkot range - suitable for beginner and intermediate levels.
