Forest Retreats UK, in collaboration with The Indian Wellness Academy Retreat, invites you to join this relaxing yoga retreat that will nurture your wellbeing. You will leave this September weekend yoga retreat feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and equipped with new tools on how to live a more balanced life. This retreat is suitable for those who want to recharge your spiritual batteries and practice twice daily sessions of blissful yoga and enjoy walking in the beautiful Forest of Dean.
On this yoga retreat, you will be accommodated for 2 nights in a basic but cozy and clean bunkhouse. You will stay in a shared dorm at Ragmans Farm bunkhouse.
During your stay, you will have twice daily yoga classes and you can spend the evening sitting around a warm fire having stimulating conversations with your fellow Yogis or having a dip in the natural wood fired hot tub.
Yoga classes on this retreat will be led by Ildikos Bakos (Ildy) from the Indian Wellness Academy. The twice-daily yoga and meditation practice incorporate Yin, Hatha, and Kundalini yoga. The Indian Wellness Academy is registered with the International Yoga Alliance that ensures they maintain a high standard of teaching.
On this yoga retreat, there will be beautiful forest walk sessions to explore the local surroundings.
Ildiko's training and teaching experiences allow her to combine traditional Kundalini and Hatha yoga styles with a contemporary western approach to help guide others to find their own love for and benefits from yoga. Her teaching is spontaneous and light-hearted, and she aims to adapt to meet the energies and needs of the group.
This retreat will be based at Ragmans Farm, England. It is a stunning 60-acre organic farm set in the Forest of Dean which is an area of outstanding natural beauty.
All food across the weekend is nutritious, wholesome, vegetarian, and home cooked. All dietary requirements are catered for. At Forest Retreats UK, they understand the importance of catering for dietary needs with the owner being a coeliac and regularly being "glutened" by various friends, family, and establishments.
You will generally start the day with home-made muesli, with a large brunch following the first yoga practice of the day. There will be water, herbal teas, and snacks (usually fruit, nuts, and flapjacks) available throughout the day and then there will also be a large evening meal and dessert.
There are optional massages options available for ultimate relaxation at an additional cost.
