    The retreat will be held at the Earth Spirit Centre. It is a residential center with a medieval touch and modern comforts. Accommodation options include shared room with shared toilet, shared room en suite, private room with en suite, shared suite with en suite or you can just pitch your own tent in the camping grounds.

    This yoga retreat is a practical week of yoga and Ayurveda immersion where this 5000-year-old healing tradition will be made relevant and useful for 21st-century living. The key point about this retreat is to experience the positive effects by applying daily or seasonal practices. During the retreat, you will learn Ayurveda fundamentals, lifestyle, foods, cooking, herbs, home remedies, beauty tips plus daily hatha yoga, pranayama and meditation to promote balanced physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Additionally, the course provided in this retreat is also a pre-requisite foundation training for the Yoga and Ayurveda Nutritionist and Counselor course will be held in 2017.

    Driving directions from London

    Take the M3 for 39 miles to the A303.

    Fork left and follows the A303 for 77 miles. Be prepared for possible traffic slow down at Amesbury 2 miles before Stonehenge (49 miles before Earth Spirit Centre).

    Drive past Wincanton to the large Podimore roundabout, turning on to the A372 sign posted Langport.

    Turn second right onto the B3151 sign posted to Glastonbury, Somerton, Street, and Kingsdon.

    Follow this road passed Somerton and Littleton hamlet.

    500 yards after Littleton, just before Dundon Hill, take the turning left sign posted Dundon called Peak Lane.

    Follow this lane for nearly one mile until you see a house on the left with a rusty, faded once black iron railing in front.

    Immediately after this house, turn left on a small lane signed to Earth Spirit Centre.

    Turn left just before thatched farmhouse into concrete yard and park. Large, tiled, converted barn is the home of Earth Spirit Centre.

    Driving directions from Glastonbury

    Take M5 take Junction 23 sign posted Glastonbury.

    Follow the signs to Glastonbury (A39) through the village of Ashcott, until the Pipers Arms pub on right.

    Turn onto the road on the right just before the Pipers Arms signposted to Berhill, in the direction of Somerton.

    Follow this all the way to crossroads.

    At intersection turn right on B3151 towards Somerton.

    In Compton Dundon turn right onto Ham Lane, signed to school and church. Follow this lane for nearly one mile, bear left round bend, uphill, past right turn to church and left hand turn to the school.

    Take next right turn into small lane, immediately after red brick bungalow and before black iron railings.

    Turn left just before thatched farmhouse into concrete yard and park. Large tiled, converted barn is the home of Earth Spirit Centre.

    Arrival by airplane from Bristol Airport (BRS)

    Book a flight to Bristol Airport (BRS). From the airport, you make take a taxi to Earth Spirit Centre. The retreat location is just an hour away from the airport via taxi.

    Arrival by train from Castle Cary station

    From London Paddington take Plymouth/Taunton line trains to Castle Cary station which is 20 minutes from Earth Spirit Center. From the station, you may take a taxi directly to the retreat location. You may also take a bus from the station. You can take the Nippy Bus 667 that goes from Castle Cary to Street about every 2 hours. After that, you will need to take bus 377 from Street to Compton Dundon and walk about 20 minutes to get to Earth Spirit Centre from the bus stop. For more information, please contact For Balance.
