Seasonal information

Bali is in the tropics, located about six degrees south of the equator. It means that the sun rises at 6 a.m. and sets at 6 p.m. most of the year. The temperature variation is very small, and Bali does not have four seasons like the most of the places. Bali has the wet season, typically from September to February, and a dry season for the other half of the year. However, the difference is marginal. At the peak of the wet season, you will see about a half-hour to an hour serious downpour in the afternoon, perfect for a nap. The rest of the time the weather is nice, warm temperature, especially with a twist of sea-breeze in the beaches.

"It's been a few days since I returned home from what was one of the most profound trip over the sea in my 29 years on this earth. I'm still trying to hold onto the warmth of the Balinese sunshine and the feeling of freedom, self-discovery, and the awesomeness of being a part of Goddesses."

"What I loved most about our Eat Play Yoga Bali holiday are doing my first ever headstand, cycling past incredibly beautiful rice-paddies, doing my first SUP, looking up at a table of ladies all beaming when I read a very positive and powerful message on a card – that support and celebration in that moment, and those facial expressions I’ll never forget. I think to sum it up, it was a positive way of pushing myself to achieve many firsts, physically, and emotionally. Gave me my ‘power’ back."

"Hi Sharni, your wonderful yoga sessions were an absolute high point of our holiday. We both feel you are such an amazing teacher as well as a lovely person, and felt completely enriched by each of your lessons. As we said, if you are ever in the UK, you would be most welcome to come and stay or visit at any time. Please keep in touch and thanks again."

"The favorite part of the Bali trip was finding time to talk to myself. I’ve realized that I need to do this more often and make time for me. It’s very easy to neglect yourself especially when you are the last on the food chain. I’ve realized that if I feel better about myself, and everyone benefits. I’ve since made more time for me in terms of spoiling myself with getting my hair done or going for a facial. You’d be pleased to know that since our flight into Bali, I have not eaten meat. I have become so good at preparing fish and vegetarian dishes, although still trying to master tofu. I feel so healthy and love the fact that I, myself, have saved a few lives without even knowing it! I’ve been listening to meditation while I drive, not ideal, but at least it’s quiet thinking time. So thank you. I needed that trip more than you know. My husband can cope, so I will do this every year."
