Accommodation

Accommodation for the journeys is shared occupancy in a mixture of hotels, hostels, guesthouses, bungalows, family homes, ashrams, monasteries and on some journeys even in tents and yurts. In order to keep costs of the journeys low, you will stay in budget to mid-range accommodation that is always comfortable, clean, and secure. Day 1

  • Pick up at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ) with transfer to Pisac
  • Gentle yoga
  • Opening of retreat
  • Evening in Pisac

Day 2

  • Morning meditation and yoga at Pisac
  • Visit Intihuatana ruins
  • Shamanic evening ceremony in Pisac

Day 3-4

  • Morning meditation and integration
  • Visit Pisac Sunday market
  • Evening departure for Puno, Lake Titicaca

Day 5

  • Beautiful boat ride upon Lake Titicaca to the floating islands of Uros
  • Continue onto Amantani
  • Explore Amantani and the masculine and feminine mountains
  • Evening yoga and meditation
  • Sleep in Amantani in a local family’s home

Day 6

  • Depart from Amantani to Taquile Island
  • Experience the powerful energies of this ancient island
  • Enjoy lunch overlooking the lake and cultural show
  • Sunset on the boat
  • Arrive in Puno for hotel check-in and an evening of relaxation

Day 7

  • Morning departure for Aymaru Portal for an offering to this powerful portal to the Gods
  • Morning meditation and exploration of this energizing portal and area
  • Head to a luxury night bus to Cusco

Day 8

  • Early morning train to Aguas Calientes, Machu Picchu
  • Afternoon meditation and gentle yoga and rest

Day 9

  • Visit Machu Picchu
  • Explore the ruins and areas of powerful ritual and invocation
  • Hike Huaynu Picchu for sky-high meditation and incredible views
  • Return to Aguas Calientes for dinner, soothing sore muscles in the hot springs, and hotel

Day 10

  • Leave Machu Picchu for Ollantaytambo and onto Pisac
  • Rest in Pisac
  • Dinner in town
  • Sleep in Pisac

Day 11

  • Morning yoga
  • Preparation for daytime Ayahuasca ceremony in Pisac
  • Evening in Pisac

Day 12

  • Day trip to Quinsacocha to explore, hike and experience the beautiful lakes, solitude, llamas, and alpacas
  • Quechua Despacho ceremony
  • Evening in Pisac

Day 13

  • Journey closing
  • Early afternoon departure to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ)

Instructors

Kristie Lonczak
Kristie loves to travel and wishes for nothing more than to share this passion with everyone. Her life has shifted in the last years as she has begun offering her experiences as a part time explorer and full-time yoga teacher, mystical dance teacher, Reiki Master, retreat facilitator, and trip leader or creator. Her focus in this life is inspiring aliveness, opening to a life lived from the heart, empowerment, and the activation of a cosmic consciousness.

Food

Our journeys always include happy healthy foods that make our bodies and minds feel great. We will be eating mostly vegetarian, with options to include fish, and sometimes also having an option to include some meat if you like. The meals will support the activities of the journey and will be a nutritious mix of local cuisine with some western favorites. Oftentimes we will eat family style where we share many dishes and get the opportunity to sample many things, and other times you may just choose from a set menu. There will always be plenty of food to sample and you will definitely like something being offered.
