Once a working ranch, Pack Creek Ranch offers you a quiet retreat 2000 feet in elevation above the western town of Moab, in Utah’s beautiful Canyon Country. Just fifteen minutes from the busy town of Moab on the Colorado River, you can relax in the foothills of the La Sal Mountains, where you can watch for the wild turkeys and see deer wander past your window.

Please note that these are tentative schedules and are subject to slight changes or shifts dependent upon weather.

Day 1

Upon arrival at the ranch, you will take your time to settle into the ranch and accommodations, relax, swim, soak, read, explore, and unwind. The first evening will meet for an introduction, welcome circle, brief yoga flow, and dinner. You will meet one another, share, discuss the days and adventures ahead, and get ready for an incredible week!

Day 2

After a deep and restful sleep in your new desert retreat home, you will rise to welcome the sun and day with a yoga practice and guided meditation with Mary. After the practice, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast and some time to slow down. From there, head into town to grab some lunch to take on the trails with you as you head out on an afternoon hike in the arches or Canyonlands parks.

After an afternoon hike, you will head to the river to swim, cool off in the Colorado River, and fill your water bottles in the natural spring that is tucked away up the canyon. To close the day, the group will head back to the ranch to enjoy the pool, sauna, and hot tub before dinner together that evening.

Day 3

  • 07:30 Guided meditation
  • 08:30 Breakfast
  • 09:30 SUP yoga workshop on the water
  • Free time to relax and slow down after SUP yoga
  • Lunch in town
  • Afternoon hike in the arches or Canyonlands parks
  • Return to the ranch
  • Relax and gentle yoga offered
  • Dinner

Day 4 to 6

It will be the same schedule as Day 3. Don't forget you will have the option to weave in sky diving.

During this weekend retreat, there will be four hikes in the area. If you have time and energy for a fifth hike or more, it can be squeezed into the schedule. You will also go on a stand up paddleboarding adventure in Colorado River.

Mary Susan has been practicing yoga for over 18 years. Many describe her energy as contagious and find her nurturing and patient style of teaching to be welcoming and supportive. She fuses her yoga, meditation, SUP, and SUP yoga classes and workshops with her grounded yet light-hearted nature. For her, being a student of the practice of yoga is as important as being a teacher. When she is not working and teaching herself, you can find her in a teacher training or yoga intensive somewhere around the world with her forever teacher, Maty Ezraty.
