To fully experience Fivelements, a stay in one of the nine exclusive suites is a must. Here, each room is enveloped in the hypnotizing whisperings of the sacred Ayung river as it carves its way through the valley. Facing a verdant forest hillside with waterfalls and the natural wonders that are often captured in Balinese paintings, each suite features an open veranda poised above the rivers swirling currents and a private bamboo enclosure housing a large open-air bathtub hewn from a stone boulder. Customized lighting showcases the seven colors of the chakras, bringing mind, body and spirit in unison with nature.

The spacious, eco-luxurious bedroom villas, complete with open air bathrooms, ensure an exclusive stay with exemplary personalized service. The nine sleeping suites, five named after each of the five elements in Balinese - pertiwi (earth), apah (water), teja (fire), bayu (air) and akasa (ether), two waterfall suites and two bidadari (angel) suites, embrace the designs of nature fashioned in the forms of sacred spirals and organic leaves. The high grass-roofed ceilings, recycled timber floors, air-conditioning and flowing white curtains allow you to relax and find peace after a treatment, meal or meditation. The Asian style teakwood bed and sofa lounge areas are designed with traditional hand-woven songket fabrics and ikat dyes and designs, commonly used for Balinese weddings and royal ceremonies. The adjoining indoor/outdoor bathroom features a lush, tropical garden with a rustic masonry stone wall and a large shower area opening to the skies and furnished with Fivelement's signature botanical essence amenities sourced directly from local farmers.

Designed to enhance inner harmony within gracious natural surroundings and the ever-present sounds of the sacred river, these delightful rooms invite an opening for unconscious healing, completing the total experience of Fivelements, Puri Ahimsa.

Healing rituals

Fivelements embraces holistic Balinese-inspired therapies administered by traditional Balinese healers using ancient wisdoms passed down from direct lineage. Following the Balinese principle of Sekala-Niskala, which holds that we all live equally in two worlds - the seen or conscious world Sekala and the unseen or psychic world Niskala - the Balinese healers engage the help of the higher divine source during each healing session.

Healing rituals include a combination of meditation, deep bodywork and prana energy performed by healers whose gifted talents have been handed down through generations of Balinese families. Energy healing introduces the powerful Panca Mahabhuta (The Five Elements) in which healer Pak Wayan works to balance the five elements of earth, water, fire, air and ether within the body.

Chakra balancing sessions are for activating and balancing the bodys seven energy centers, while in prana healing, healer Pak Dewa will scan and clear the aura of imbalances.

Massage therapies include holistic massage with prana combination, deep healing reflexology, acupressure, invigorating bodywork and muscle release, all of which synchronize intuitive body and energy work to identify, balance and heal.

Water healing

Let go and float effortlessly in the hydrotherapy pool as the water healing therapist glides you gracefully through the water and applies artful stretches and luxurious massage assisted by water. As you allow yourself to relax and surrender to the support of the water and free movement, the body unwinds and releases holding patterns, inviting healing on the mental and emotional planes. Profoundly relaxing and nurturing, this therapy recalls the safety, timelessness and peacefulness of the womb. The Balinese concept of Tri Hita Karana comes to life with human and elemental connection and a sense of the deeper connection to life itself.

The therapists, trained in the aquatic bodywork traditions of Watsu, healing dance and water dance, share this gift of love.

Sacred arts

Fivelements recognizes that optimal wellness comes from embracing and respecting the body, mind and spirit, where health and self-realization are reflections of the love, authenticity and harmony within.

Sacred arts healing is inspired by the ancient Balinese philosophy, Tri Kaya Parisudha, which encourages us to align heartfelt goodwill and thinking with consistent speech and action. This creative form of personal and spiritual growth promotes a deeper connection with our inner core, empowering us with new ways to balance our external life choices.

The holistic sacred arts programs at Fivelements involve movement, creative expression and self-awareness. The individual or group sessions are multi-disciplinary and are guided by specialists in meditation, yoga, somatic therapy, Aikido, dance, vibrational healing music, drama, visual arts and healing dance aquatic bodywork. These programs help us reconnect with our authentic selves, opening our bodies and minds to newfound trust, freedom and joy.

Embark on the sacred arts healing journey and explore new ways to cultivate peace, strengthen your inner power and deepen your connection with others. Life changing possibilities are presented by the dedicated professionals, who will guide you with compassion, sensitivity and love.

The natural beauty of the sacred land that Fivelements occupies, just 10 kilometers from the mountain town of Ubud, is full of healing energy. It is centered on a holy spring that marks the intersection of eight major energy lines. Six sacred spaces within the retreats grounds used for blessing ceremonies, celebrations, peace dialogue and private meditation are especially conducive to finding emotional and spiritual peace.

Within this unique space, the exceptional facilities that make up each guest's Balinese home have been designed to complement this incredible energy. With a strong focus on eco-credentials, the nature-influenced architecture provides the most propitious surroundings for transformational healing.

At its core, the retreats thatched Sakti dining room is designed to echo the shape of a banana leaf, the Balinese symbol of food. With a lotus pond on one side and the Ayung river the other, it is a truly auspicious place to eat, drink healing juices and gather for health coaching, cooking and other workshops.

At the center of the retreat are three gathering places, mandala Agung and the two smaller mandalas Alit and Madya. Workshops, classes and all kinds of development and learning take place in these inspirational buildings.

Further along the river in peaceful seclusion, nine suites bask in Balis tropical beauty, and in the crook of the river, the healing and beauty sanctuary is where all treatments are taken.

A large lap pool for leisure, fitness and relaxation overlooks the Ayung river, with massage jets, underwater music and chromo therapy. There is also a Watsu pool.

Living foods provide life force. Fundamental to personal health and a healthy planet, they support natural healing through cleansing to help us reach our highest potential. By integrating raw living foods into our daily lives, we can look forward to wellness, greater energy and mental clarity, a positive outlook on life and spiritual awakening.

Living or raw foods are highly rejuvenating. Plant-based foods in their original, un-heated (uncooked) state are considered raw and alive. They include fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds, seaweed and fresh juices. When prepared uncooked or in a special dehydrating food dryer at less than 48C / 118F , they retain the vital life force nutrients (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, oxygen) and living enzymes required to digest food, repair cellular damage and create billions of healthy new cells every day.

Raw foods in Bali provide the maximum amount of energy with minimal bodily effort, and have been proven to help heal degenerative conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer. These nutrient-rich foods are also effective in treating allergies, digestive disorders, weak immune systems, high cholesterol, obesity and weight problems, as well as various mental, emotional and skin disorders.

You are invited to experience natures finest healing cuisine at Fivelements Sakti dining room, prepared by an expert team of devoted chefs.

The philosophy behind the Sakti dining room is to provide the most rejuvenating foods possible. Far more than simply fuel, vegan and raw living foods actively support each guests healing journey to greater wellness, by raising energy levels and mental clarity, encouraging a positive and enlightened outlook, and giving every opportunity for each person to reach their highest potential.

The Fivelements beauty sanctuary leads the way back to nature by capturing the healing powers of plants and preserving village remedies. All-natural and superfood ingredients are combined with a comprehensive range of authentic beauty rituals, fresh organic bathing and skin care, and the deeply relaxing touch of healing massages from dedicated therapists.

The formula for the pure, plant-sourced products was inspired by traditional Balinese recipes and perfected with innovative methods for deeply nourishing, long-lasting beauty.

Fresh ingredients capture the life force of petals, leaves, bark, roots, seeds, nuts and fruits of indigenous, naturally cultivated plants that are grown and gathered by hand from Balinese gardens.

Nearly every treatment is freshly prepared from raw ingredients to provide a nutrient-rich living food for your skin. Cucumbers are sliced to create hydrating facial masks, Balinese salt crystals are blended with virgin coconut oil for body scrubs, sweetcorn is grated, aloe vera is squeezed and kaffir lime is pressed for the revitalizing bath rituals, while raw chocolate is warmed for the deeply nourishing body mask. The only exception is the flower facial tonic, which is rested overnight to activate the potency of the champaka, ylang-ylang and frangipani blossoms.

Revive your radiance with the force of nature within the spiritually-restful environment of the Fivelements beauty sanctuary.

"This is a very special, healing place to come and relax away from the rest of Bali. The way is used to be when I first visited over 30 years ago. The raw food was delicious although the menu is limited... The Spa was first rate. Staff was wonderful! Not to be missed if you have the budget..."

"Amazing healing place in Ubud offering delicious (raw) vegan dishes and everything else is too good to be true. Pencils made out of cinnamon, a bamboo restaurant, paradise garden, but the best are the healing services ... the fire ceremony has transformative power and can change your life. and the meditation with dada is something that your heart will never forget. nature meets modern technology in the bungalow, all lights and music sound are managing through a tablet. I simply loved this energetic place."

"It might sound bold, but Five Elements is one of the greatest stays I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, Five Elements felt magical, relaxing and a feast for all the senses. Staying for five nights as part of our honeymoon, we were greeted with a extraordinary, healthy welcome drink before being guided through the stunning grounds to our room (the “Teja” suite), complete with private outdoor bath, overlooking the river."

"The room was comfortable and quiet, immersed in the sounds of the river and it’s surrounding nature. The internet was excellent and the room serviced twice daily, making us feel at all times attended to. The food was truly superb and the staff extremely professional, friendly and accommodating."

"For those looking to truly indulge, we recommend the couple’s “Signs of Love” massage package, whereby you are treated to a first-class riverside massage, followed by dinner."

"We also loved the facilities on offer, but did find the pricing a bit restrictive for our tastes, so traveled to Ubud’s town centre often, as there are no other facilities or restaurants nearby. This became a little taxing at times, with the 30 minute (longer in heavy traffic) drive and the hotel shuttle only offering three trips daily. This is however hardly a negative against FiveElements, who clearly advertise the place as a retreat and is the perfect setting for those looking to isolate themselves in this truly spectacular riverside paradise."

"I really can’t express enough how special our stay at FiveElements was. With it’s setting, privacy and atmosphere we enjoyed a honeymoon stay that will be with us forever."

"Fivelements, as the name implies, connects visitors to the elements within the property to get in touch with the soul. "

"It is not just fancy descriptions; the site is full of greenery nature, the architecture of the properties made to bond with their location, which is on top of a running river. Even the bathtub is outside on the river to capture unforgettable romantic moments with the loved ones. Not to mention, the toilet "washroom, shower and toilet seats" are also outside from the back. It's exceptionally unique concept that i have not seen in other hotels. "

"Instead of the health club and night life, this property particularly pays sole attention to spirituality. They have yoga practices in a place that circulates the air naturally for total tranquility. The restaurant is located on the river, with purely vegetarian options that made in Indonesian style by skilled cooks. I was mind wondered by the carefully picked ingredients. This isn't another fancy description, I hardly give or bother to provide any reviews, but this property earned it. I even got the chance find an appropriate chakra healer to put the disrupted gates in order! The Masseuse were skilled more than the Dubai spa-winner, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray."

"As far as I'm concerned, the hotel location is on a great site, but far away from the city centre. The good news is the hotel secures free shelters at certain timings. Also, there aren't really many things you can do at night at the property, not even tv found their. "

"If you are looking for a buzzy experience, then this isn't the hotel for you. This is the place where to reconnect love, appreciate the fine things in life, and revive the spirits."

"We visited Fivelements for the couples coconut harmony treatment and the whole experience was nothing short of fabulous! Listening to the soothing sound of the Ayung river while getting our massages as well as enjoying a gorgeous view of it during the coconut milk bath was so so memorable. Perfect romantic setting! The Balinese massage therapists did a fantastic job. We left feeling super refreshed and rejuvenated."

"We also took a short tour around the property and the whole place looked so serene, beautiful and peaceful, would be so amazing to getaway to this retreat for a week or so."

"Our stay at five elements was beyond amazing. You instantly feel a sense of serenity and comfort upon entering this resort. The staff, the food (amazing raw vegetarian food) and the environment were 10 star quality (if that's possible). We received various spa treatments-- flower bath, facial, sakti ritual, fire ceremony and body scrub and nothing was left feeling any less that relaxed. Very old traditions were used, organic products and thoughtful care to each detail. The location was not far from Ubud and the ride was nice and mellow, a shuttle is offered 3 times per day as complimentary to your stay or you can arrange for a private trip that is very appropriate in price. We loved our stay and wish it never ended!"

"Five Elements is a beautiful resort in an idyllic setting. The river fronted suites are well appointed and provide a sense of calm, you really feel connected to the environment and nature, in particular the outdoor bathroom area, which as someone who lives in northern Europe is such a wonderful novelty (having a warm shower during a tropical downpour was a magical experience). As someone who eats meat I was interested to experience some gourmet vegan food and was amazed at the variety and creativity of the cooking (the scrambled sweetcorn in place of egg at breakfast was a revelation), the chef is really top class and you can tell that the quality of the ingredients is very high. For non-vegan/vegetarians, it might be difficult to adjust to this for more than a couple of days (I think I missed dairy the most). We didn't use the spa due to the high prices (we got used to the incredible and inexpensive treatments around Ubud and couldn't bring ourselves to spend European prices). The one negative during our stay was that a tour group came into the resort to use the facilities for a day. Clearly this was an opportunity for the resort not to be refused, but it did cause disruption to the peaceful surroundings. However, the manager and staff handled the situation well and resolve this issue to our satisfaction. My only recommendation is to be more communicative with guests about such situations (should they happen again in the future) to allow them to make other arrangements in advance (we could have switched the days that we went out on a tour and would have had minimal disruption). Overall this is a wonderful place for those that are looking for something different and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it."

There is no need for a Yoga/Meditation class or a Spa treatment....as soon as you set foot on this place you automatically feel stress free! The restaurant is fabulous, the rooms are BEAUTIFUL, clean and spacious. This retreat is very well managed...the staff went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. "Our stay here was truly special. The beautiful energy of this place fills you up as soon as you arrive and the hustle and bustle of the world is left behind. We were greeted on arrival with cold towels and a welcome drink and shown to our beautiful room that had a front seat view of the river. "

"The place is immaculate and the staff cannot do enough for you."

"The thing that impressed us the most was the food. Meat and dairy free, raw natural food. We were skeptical but we shouldn't have been. We were blown away. The raw hummus flat bread was a special favorite. The fresh juices and shakes were some of the best we have ever had and we are both health food nuts. "

"The treatments were special. The deep reflexology treatment with the healer was stand out for both of us. We cried the whole way through (pain like you've never felt) but the transformation it had on our bodies and spirits - i would put myself through it again. I have never experienced such in depth holistic knowledge and whilst you pay over the odds for Bali to be here and experience healing in such a way - for certain treatments it is worth it."

"Overall we felt that some of the treatments were very expensive and that could deter some travelers as the objective is to immersive yourself in the healing rituals but there are no communal ones offered so be prepared to open your wallet and pay!"

"I couldn't fault this place and would absolutely go again. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and the healers who made our trip so special."

"I don't think I've ever stay anywhere as magical as Fivelements. The room blew me away. It's not everyday you have your own private bath tub next to a river! The room was spacious and luxurious in a simple Balinese way- not over the top. The other end of the room featured a spacious outdoor bathroom I was happy to share with a gecko or two."

"The grounds themselves were also stunning, sitting along side the river. The vegan food was loving prepared- but I was over it by the end (just not my thing!). All and all highly recommended - especially for honeymooners, as the rooms were very private. Treat yourself!"

"A gem you cannot expect. The ultimate fusion between natural beauty and human conscious craftsmanship. Luxury for all your senses, body, mind and soul. Spaces are created in harmony with nature and using its energies to uplift your spirit: Bambu everywhere built on trees reaching cathedral heights. In the shala you feel pulled upwards and yoga exercises became unique. The energy of the river is the leitmotiv: all huts and treatment houses have an open space on it. Imagine the feeling of having a bath into a carved stone in the open air directly on the river! Refinement and attention to details and to the experience are everywhere. "

"The treatments are luxurious as well. They merge spirit with body and mind. You start with a little meditation, natural products for treatments are produced there and they are carefully explained to you and the location is unique: entering the bathroom through silk curtains is a feeling that stays. Trans-formative healing and ceremonies are offered. So that you can bring your personal evolution forward in a protected space. And obviously the food: raw cuisine with great attention to taste and eye pleasure made with a lot of passion from the chef Arnaud. If you have the chance to meet the owner, Chicco, you will also experience the light in his eyes and enthusiasm of having been able to create a better paradise here, on earth."

"Whether you have some deep-seeded life issues to work through or you're just in need of a reset, this is the place to do it. The resort is built on land that has been identified and blessed by a Balinese medicine man as a sanctuary with intense healing properties. Sitting right on the river, the resort is built of bamboo and other recycled materials, and is spread out over an incredibly vibrant and lush piece of land. The villas themselves are simple and pleasant, and each comes with an outdoor shower and stone bathtub overlooking the river. "

"Spa treatments can take place in the room or in the spa itself, also situated with beautiful river views. While the treatments aren't super inexpensive, I feel like you do get what you pay for - the therapists here aren't just rubbing your body because it's their job, they are genuinely transferring healing energy into your tight spots and working out what needs to be addressed. You can legitimately feel the difference in your body on a much deeper level than just having a good oil' rub down. Massage and spa treatments are true therapy here."

"Also therapeutic is the Sakti Dining Room/restaurant. It's 80% vegan, 100% veg, 0% meat, but even if meat is a staple in your diet, everything made is so insanely delicious that you won't feel like you're missing a thing. I believe this is one of the top-rated restaurants in Bali, and it's for a good reason."

"Couples and families can all come here and have a relaxing time, but I really would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to ground themselves or get into some deep healing. Self-work isn't easy, but Fivelements definitely provides the ideal cocoon to get where you want to be."

We loved the novelty of the outside shower and bathtub! It was great sitting in the huge rock tub overlooking the river below as the water rafters went by! The restaurant was lovely, made of bamboo and beautifully designed. The pool is very lovely too Hopefully if we ever get back to Bali we will be able to spend more time here!"

"Staff: Fantastic. Made in the restaurant is amazing. He really listens, has great suggestions and seems to have that skill of knowing what you want before you do. The front desk is also extremely kind and helpful. The woman that was there for both our arrival and departure was very detail oriented. our departure in particular was excellent. Our early exit did not allow for breakfast and etc. However somehow at 6.30 AM I was still sent on my way with super-food smoothie, fruit plate and a gift for my friend and I that we both had admired during our stay. Thank you! "

    ""

"Dining: The raw food is really spectacular, not for the palate and the eyes! It's just a bit frustrating when you order something and they say Oh we don't have blank for the Nori roll, so you say that's okay. You think your still going to get the Nori roll sans blank, But no, you're not. There were also a lot of things not on the menu, or substitutions. I'm okay with that, I just think a different style of menu is in order. Like a menu of the day. Every food I ate or drank was great, amazing, delicious! "

    ""

"Pool, great right by the river and if your lucky you can get watsu massage in the little pool next door! "

    ""

"Rooms: So pretty, one large king size bed and a daybed. Beautiful mosquito netting at night. There is a huge outdoor bathtub facing the river on your private lani. You can change the color of the tub lights with the same iPad that controls your room. There are bath salts, a candle and products out there and bugs. Lots of bugs in the tub, but your in the jungle so to be expected. The bathroom is also outside, but contained within your room. We just had a cat visit us. And some frogs and lizards. "

    ""

"The yoga room is beautiful, like a grand cathedral for yoga made of bamboo."

    ""

"Spa: the best, we went crazy. Spent lots of money. Worth every penny! There is also a really sweet cat that hangs out there ;-) The individual spa huts with outdoor terraces facing the river are treatments within themselves. The bathtubs make you want to go get dirty just to have an excuse to get clean. The practitioners must have been cherry picked because they are the best. What truly magnificent healers you have found at your spa."

"Five elements is a example of the future of living one with nature in an environment that has comfort style and an intimate connection to the natural surroundings of Bali's nature and tradition. Just being there will bring a stillness to your being that starts to heal you from the inside out. When we return to our natural self through clean organic food and clean clear environment. The mind and soul become realigned with that clarity and peace. And this is even before you have treatments from some of the best traditional healers on the island, even if you can only make it for one night its worth the unique experience."

The front desk is also extremely kind and helpful. The woman that was there for both our arrival and departure was very detail oriented. our departure in particular was excellent. Our early exit did not allow for breakfast ect. However somehow at 630 am I was still sent on my way with superfood smoothie, fruit plate and a gift for my friend and I that we both had admired during our stay. Thank you! "

"Dining: The raw food is really spectacular, not for the palate and the eyes! It's just a bit frustrating when you order something and they say Ohhhhh we don't have blank for the nori roll, so you say that's ok. You think your still going to get the nori roll sans blank.. But no.. Your not. "

"There were also a lot of things not on the menu, or substitutions. I'm ok with that, I just think a different style of menu is in order.. Like a menu of the day. Every food I ate or drank was great, amazing, delicious! "

"Pool, great right by the river and if your lucky you can get watsu massage in the little pool next door! "

"Rooms: So pretty, one large king size bed and a daybed. Beautiful mosquito netting at night. There is a huge outdoor bathtub facing the river on your private lani. You can change the color of the tub lights with the same iPad that controls your room. There are bath salts, a candle and products out there....and bugs. Lots of bugs in the tub, but your in the jungle so to be expected. The bathroom is also outside, but contained within your room. We just had a cat visit us.. And some frogs and lizards. "

"The yoga room is beautiful, like a grand cathedral for yoga made of bamboo."

"Spa: the best, we went crazy.. Spent lots of money.. Worth every penny! There is also a really sweet cat that hangs out there ;-) "

"The individual spa huts with outdoor terraces facing the river are treatments within themselves. The bathtubs make you want to go get dirty just to have an excuse to get clean. The practitioners must have been cherry picked because they are the best. What truly magnificent healers you have found at your spa."

"Regarding the location, it is out of Ubud market area. About a half an hour drive. Though the hotel provides 3 fixed free drops, it is easy if you have your vehicle hired if you frequently want to.Regarding the resort, it is very close to the river and is surrounded all over with jungle-like areas, thus it is very close to nature. Everything seems so interesting and unique. Nature with five star amenities."

"I have booked a week in this amazing eco-luxury resort and spa, but unfortunately there was availability only for one day. I insisted so much, that in order to satisfy my desire of staying there, the management has offer me the possibility of using the open-air treatment room as a private room to sleep. At the beginning I was skeptic, but I accepted. So the first night I slept in the sleeping suite eco-lux (amazing) and the second in the treatment room! No window, open air, the river close by, has transformed that night in a unique sleeping event. I felt to be back in the old Bali... Where nature and a strong sensation have been mediated by a perfect service. I loved the food and the healing treatment Simply magic! Thanks to the staff, again. Next time I hope they will allow me to stay in the open-air treatment room again!"

"The location itself is extraordinary. Design features fuse into nature with no distractions, every detail considered; from finely select tea and night torches, to grand yoga shala and bathtubs overlooking the river. The restaurant is other level. Dishes are an expression of plant artistry with vibrant colors and lovely flavors requiring no additions. The 7 course degustation menu was sublime, each dish wonderfully complimented by a palate cleanser. There is no alcohol served yet once the dining experience unfolds, it becomes insignificant."

"This is a boutique hotel that would rank in the top 10 in the world. You are amongst butterflies, a river, beautiful gardens and rice paddies. They have combined luxury with nature. The food was so good we opted for the cookery school. If you want try alternative spa therapies then come here. I had a session with Pak Agung and this is something that I will never forget. Read his bio on the Fivelements website. I will come back here again; it truly was a magical stay."

"I still am having difficulty putting into words my experience at Fivelements. It was a privilege and honor for me to have had the serendipity to have spent 10 blissful days in this cocoon in Bali. I would like to thank and praise the creators of Fivements for bringing to life a place of peace, harmony and growth. At the same time, I would like to thank the entire staff for making my entire experience a perfect voyage. I came to Fivements with the hope of releasing tension, stress and to improve my health. I have left having achieved not only my goals but with so much more. I feel centered, inspired and lighter than I have in a long time, or maybe, even ever. Paradise on earth does exist. From the bottom of my heart, I believe that if all of humanity had the opportunity to experience a place like Fivelements, we would have peace on Earth.Thank you for this transformational opportunity. I will surely be back soon in order to reconnect with the surrounding sounds and melodies that were an integral part of my regeneration process."

"The pure spirituality of Fivelements was palpable the minute we arrived. The 5 days we have spent here have truly been heaven on earth. The friendly faces, the exquisite food, the master healers, the exotic treatments all add up to a well-deserved 10/10. We came here exhausted, stressed to the max from the fast paced lives we live, but we are leaving feeling truly rested, grounded, energized, peaceful and well reminded of the really important things in life."

"Fivelements has given me many special moments, from absorbing the atmosphere and energy of Teja on arrival, to listening of the river flow... When night descends. It is a very special experience to be here. Thank you. The quality and flavor of the cuisine is life-changing. I had no idea raw/vegan could be so delicious and elegant. Fivelements is a haven made into a sanctuary by calm and happy staff - restaurant, spa, reception, room cleaning - all supportive of the quality and peace of the clients experience."

The day objective for us was to reconnect as a group and team through the sharing of an array of experiences that the property extends to its customers. Not only did we achieved our purpose, but we also had the opportunity to discover a new world of opportunities by being immerse in the world that Fivelements offers to its guests, through the wonderful treatments offered at the spa, the exquisite raw cuisine that is taken to another level by the culinary team and also the passion displayed by the owners Chicco and Lahra, together with their wonderful team!Fivelements team, bravo!"

"I wanted to send you a small note to say thank you. God has given me the opportunity to experience many deep failures and huge successes. Through them all I have realized never to stop learning. Never stop trying to be a better human being. That is what brought me to Fivelements. I came because I wanted a few massages, good service and a quiet place where I can think and learn. What I found was you. The Change Angels. I leave your paradise a changed and a better human being. I leave now to become with humility an ambassador of yours. I leave to start my new journey equipped with the knowledge you have so generously passed to me. Your attention to me, the caring I have seen in the way you have interacted with me and your acceptance to bring me in as one of yours on the first day of my arrival is a story i will tell my grandchildren, God willing.I say thank you for changing my life. My Change Angels."

"I am writing to thank you for your support during my incredible stay in Bali. From speaking at TEDx Ubud, to the amazing finish line parade, to getting to ride my first wave the end of my journey was something I will never forget. I am so grateful for your friendship and help, not only of myself and my journey, but for all people with disabilities.Together, we showed Indonesia and the world that people with disabilities can lead full, active, and healthy lives and have fun, too! The people I met during my journey have so much heart, hope and potential, and if we have been able to inspire even a few them to take their next step towards independence through our work together, I know our world will be better for it.Now that Ive completed my journey, I feel so strong, free and ready for whatever may be next. Because so many people like you supported me, trusted me and gave me a chance, I was able to do things I never thought possible. When I had my accident I learned that we never know where life may take us, but right now there are a million ways we can celebrate life, and share kindness, and find inspiration. I certainly found plenty of inspiration working with you, and will continue to spread the word about disabled people and the incredible things we can do. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you."

"The fast at Fivelements was a powerful physical, emotional, mental and spiritual success with people participating from over 8 countries. One hundred percent of the participants had their spiritual energy (kundalini) awakened which is extraordinary in of itself. Fivelements is the ideal place to do a spiritual fast."

  • Review by Ruk40 from Indonesia

"I was looking for an out of the ordinary holiday experience and found it at Fivelements. Even though it was high season, the place was so quiet (other than sounds of the tropical forest and river), intimate and utterly relaxing. We felt like we were the only guests there at times. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, especially Isa. The food was an experience unto itself. As a meat lover, I was surprised at how tasty raw vegan meals could be. The room was tasteful and met our needs. An outdoor bathroom was another first, but did get a few mosquito bites. I cannot say enough about the healing treatments, they exceeded my expectations. This is not your average spa. If you are looking for a place to do lots of energetic activities and get worn out, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a completely blissful get away from it all, look no further than Fivelements. This retreat is beautiful, pricey, but worth it for the one of a kind experience. It has the power to transform you."
