Intensive Yoga Teacher Training in Malta

The comprehensive FitYoga Teacher Training program enables you to become a Yoga Alliance certified (RYT-200) instructor and to acquire a complete Mind-Body-Spirit toolkit to transform your life and the life of others. The 20-day intensive program has a strong emphasis on asana alignments, hands-on adjustments, practical spirituality, vegan nutrition, Reiki energy healing, Ayurveda, yoga philosophy and self-development to become a confident, holistic private and group yoga teacher. The program teaches you a set dynamic Power Vinyasa Flow sequence called FitYoga, that fuses creative flows, powerful holds and Pilates-inspired core exercises into a unique sequence.

About FitYoga

FitYoga was developed in 2010 by Balazs Heller former gymnastics champion of Hungary & European Bikram Yoga Champion and ever since he has been spreading FitYoga around the world. Balazs fuses his asana teachings with spiritual life coaching, whole-food plant-based nutrition and Reiki energy healing. As an addition to your FitYoga certification, you will become a certified Reiki Level 1 energy healer. The program is suitable for yoga practitioners who have been practicing yoga for at least a year, or students who have a good fitness level with regular sports activities. The curriculum of the training program is designed in accordance with the 200-hour Yoga Alliance requirements.

Daily sample program

  • 08:00 - 10:00 Meditation, pranayama, and yoga practice on the beach
  • 10:15 Vegan smoothie
  • 10:30 - 12:30 Lecture / workshop
  • 12:30 - 13:30 Homemade Vegan lunch
  • 13:30 - 16:00 Lecture / yoga alignment / Satsang
  • 16:00 Relax / beach time / self-study

Evening programs two times a week

  • 20:00 - 22:00 Bhakti Yoga (every Thursday)
  • 20:00 - 22:00 Tibetan Singing Bowl Meditation and Satsang (every Friday)

The yoga style

FitYoga is a dynamic fusion of traditional Hatha yoga and modern Vinyasa Flow which makes the FitYoga sequence powerful. It is a brand new yoga style which gives you a great advantage on the market to become unique and different from the mainstream yoga instructors.

The program is limited to a maximum of 8 people, which gives you more personal attention to achieve personal transformation. The price includes full board accommodation with vegan lunch which will boost your energy level and detoxification process to become pure physically, mentally, and spiritually. You walk out confident, self-aware, and professional, as a ready-to-teach and walk-the-talk yoga teacher.

The training involves a lot of practical knowledge with hands-on adjustment, yoga anatomy, and asana alignment so that you will be very effective in working as a private yoga teacher as well. You will be learning directly from the founder of FitYoga, Balazs Heller, who has 25 years of professional gymnastics, yoga, and spiritual life coaching, Reiki healing and intuitive massage experience.

Following our morning yoga practice we will have a short break for fruits. Lunchtime meals will include vegan cooked dishes or soups and 1-2 salads. We do not serve dinner on the teacher training, but the area is full of shops and restaurants.

Golden Bay hike

After enjoying the beach of the magnificent Golden Bay, we head north to discover some hidden cliffs and countryside boathouses.

Ghajn Tuffieha hike

The most beautiful beach in Malta surrounded by green hills and spring flowers from November till May also offers a short hike to a moon-like place.

Gnejna Bay hike

Sunbathe where the locals go, with close proximity to the village of Mgarr, Gnejna bay offers amazing scenery of green hills and cactus fields.
