Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Yoga)
Amy leads inspiring classes from the heart focusing strongly on the physical but also tending to the subtle body, infusing classes with strong anatomical alignment cues, poetry, and philosophy. Her hope is to send her students on a journey of self enquiry, tapping into innate inner wisdom and intimate connection to self. Qualifying through Yoga Alliance with AppleYoga, Amy continues to immerse herself in the study of yoga under teachers such as Judith Hanson Lasater, Simon Low, Julie Gudmestad, and Dr. Ray Long, and many others.
A lifelong martial artist, Jamie discovered yoga as the perfect vehicle for correcting imbalances within the body. Jamie has set off for India to complete his 200-hour multi-style TTC where he discovered Yin yoga and became inspired by the work of Paul Grilley. He then returned to India to complete a 50-hour Yin TTC with Maheshwara Manfred Lehner and Shakti Simone Lehner, certified teachers under Paul Grilley. After teaching in Goa for Lotus Yoga, Jamie returned to London to complete an additional Yin and Yang 50-hour TTC with Sarah Lo.
Krishna was born and raised in a peaceful mountainous setting in the Western Himalayas of North India, where he was introduced to yoga at an early age. He started his practice at age 15, under the guidance of his Guru Ji Sri Sitaram Das Baba Ji from the lineage of the Ramananda Sampradaya, a Hindu Spiritual Order of Vaishnavites. Upon initiation into the monastic order, he started teaching in different ashrams and yoga schools around India until founding Aranya Yoga Ashram. Krishna will be leading the sound bowl meditation one evening.
A very relaxing weekend.
The setting was amazing, great to have the opportunity to practice outside
I am quite new to yoga so I was a bit nervous going on a yoga retreat but Amy was an excellent teacher and host and really made me relax and enjoy all the new experiences of the weekend. Highly recommended.
This was an amazing experience and would suit anyone either an advanced yoga student or a complete beginner. Perfect location, excellent food and good to meet like minded people.
Beautiful surroundings, varied and interesting yoga and so nice to practice outside. So much thought had gone into everything. A lovely and welcoming weekend.
I have had a beautiful and relaxing weekend with Amy and a group of lovely people. The location was spectacular. The food was delicious and nourishing. I learnt a lot of new techniques in mindfulness and my yoga practice. Amy really encouraged the group to connect and open to each other which was a highlight of the weekend for me.
I went on the retreat without knowing Amy so it was a leap of faith. She is a fantastic teacher who teaches in a creative but also intuitive way, suitable for all levels. The setting was absolutely beautiful, the house was comfortable and the food delicious! There was a good balance of activities and time to relax. I thoroughly enjoyed this retreat and would highly recommend it!
What did I like most about the retreat - the teacher, her presence, her devotion, her ability to be courageous and gentle, her ability to be accepting, peaceful, and nurturing. The little touches. The venue and the hot tub. The food was very creative with alot of care and effort put in. Can't wait for the next one.
Utter nourishment for your mind, body and soul and belly! My body is filled with gratitude for getting myself here
Thank you for your wonderful practice, you bring so many unique pieces of wisdom and reflection into it- it was very beautiful, balancing and peaceful!
I would highly recommend this retreat for its restorative effect, lovely people and fantastic location. As a beginner, I found it perfectly placed to develop my practice. I would love to go on a longer retreat!
Look forward to the next one now :)

I have just spent a week on Amy's yoga retreat in Ibiza and it is impossible to put into words quite how amazing she is as a teacher. She has just the right balance of spiritual and physical in her teaching and explains the asanas as she goes along and the significance behind them. She is so patient and gentle with people who are struggling and just being in her presence is so calming and relaxing. The only negative is that I don't live close enough to her to attend her weekly classes. Thank you Amy for being you.

Amy is one of the most inspiring people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Unlike other yoga classes I have tried, she notices detail, takes the time to help to correct you, and explains everything so well.
The retreat was truly restorative and healing. Amy was so thoughtful about the whole environment she created with a delightful attention to detail. The whole weekend was creative and fun and in a beautiful setting. The yoga was pretty good too!
The weekend gave me the chance to pause from the hustle and bustle, and reconnect with myself and my mum and sister who I went with. It was a very special weekend, which we will always remember. Any created an amazing safe and spiritual space for this to flourish.
Amy's retreat was an amazing weekend which left me totally refreshed in both body and mind. It introduced me to new ideas to help me advance my practice, and throughout the weekend, I felt protected and nurtured by Amy's heartfelt warmth and her husband Rob's incredible vegetarian banquets. I cannot recommend this retreat highly enough: the setting, the company, the yoga, the food and the atmosphere were all as Amy herself would put it, 'beautiful'.
This was my first experience of a yoga retreat - and goodness what an amazing weekend it was! The setting was idyllic, in a beautiful house in the Derbyshire countryside. The food was delicious, and prepared by Amys husband Rob. Everything was made from scratch, and the highlight for us all was fresh fruit dipped in chocolate on Saturday evening. The yoga sessions were held in a large room at the top of the house, which really became a sanctuary for us all at various points during the day. On Saturday evening the weather outside was wild and windy, but we were safe and warm inside, and very chilled out by then. There were various activities throughout the weekend - a mindfulness walk, plenty of books around which we all enjoyed browsing through, colouring books, a hot tub outside.Amy was very nurturing, caring and a generous spirit.Would I go again or recommend to others? It was one of the most memorable weekends of my life, and I was fortunate to be there with my two daughters too.
