Tools required
Please install Zoom to attend the live sessions. Students will also need one yoga mat, 2 blocks, 1 blanket, and a bolster or pillow. These can be improvised with bath towels, large books, or pots for blocks and regular blankets. Students will also need a notebook and pens as well as a good internet connection
How the retreat works
You will get 3 live morning yoga therapy classes on Zoom (recordings of classes available for all to keep) and 3 live afternoon sadhana (spiritual practices) which consist of meditation, writing, and community discussions. In total, you will have 15 hours together.
You will also get a one-on-one mentorship during retreat time via WhatsApp for any questions or concerns about the process of the retreat, take-home tools to apply to your daily life, and like-minded community and new relationships. Each morning, the group will gather for a moving meditation and asana yoga practice.
These practices include flow and restorative and modifications are given for all levels. In the afternoon, the group will come together for a pranayama/breath and energy work meditation centering, writing, and visualization exercises. A ‘no pressure’ group discussion and share based on the day’s exercises.
Timing of sessions (GMT-7)
The sessions will start from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (GMT-7) with a one-hour break from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Retreat information
For three days, you will gather on Zoom in a uniting circle of men and women from around the world to practice yoga asana, meditate, write, discuss, and create a deeper understanding of yourselves.
