Firefly Retreat is a budget retreat center, rooms are basic but clean. Before making a booking, please make sure about the type of rooms as normally the place is fully booked. Booking one month in advance is encouraged. FireFly Retreat Bali is not able to change the type of rooms upon arrival.

Canang making

Canang is one of the daily offerings made by Balinese Hindus to thank the Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa in praise and prayer. Canang will be seen in the Balinese temples (Pura), on small shrines in houses, and on the ground or as a part of a larger offering.

Jamu Making

Jamu is a traditional herbal tonic from Indonesia. It is predominantly herbal medicine made from natural materials, such as roots, bark, flowers, seeds, leaves, and fruits.

Cooking class

Learning to make a delicious jackfruit curry for your own lunch.

Balinese experience

Tour of traditional Balinese elementary school, Barong dance, visit Balinese temple and receive a holy bracelet, rice field tour, Balinese activities such as making satay, Balinese dessert, canning sari, making natural coconut oil and Balinese coffee, learn how to plant rice paddies, observe local Balinese artists painting with natural colors.
