"A great experience. "
I really loved the whole place.
The natural environment, the consciousness about nature, the yoga lessons, the food!!, the talks with the family, the slacklining, playing with the child.
Soa is a great teacher, trying to get the best out of you.
I had the pleasure to be alone at the farm at that moment.
You can always stay alone or spend time together with the family.
It’s a really good mix and you don’t feel lonely or bored at an any time.
Three days passed way to fast.

"Best retreat in Ecuador!"
I absolutely loved my weekend with Finca Penguino! Soa is an amazing yoga instructor, who challenged me all weekend. She definitely caters every class to what her students are looking for - for me, my arm balances definitely improved over the weekend! And the yoga terrace is absolutely stunning! (We even heard a cow join in on one of our om’s!)
Learning about the farm from Simón was also great, they are clearly very passionate about their finca!
As for the food... what can I say, it was incredible and you will not go hungry here!! Everything was so creative, healthy and delicious, probably the best food I’ve had in Ecuador. Soa makes a beet salad that I had to get the recipe for!
Overall, I would recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a great weekend away - I went solo, but would be great for couples too. You’ll improve your yoga, learn about farming in Ecuador, and get to feel like part of the family!!
