Yoga was excellent! Our instructor, Sonia Peltzer strategically gave us certain yoga poses/moves for day 1 & day 2 that were perfect for our activities on each day. With body sores on Sunday morning after Saturday rock climbing, the yoga poses were perfect! I mean, my body loved it so much! The soreness of my shoulders & arms didn't interfere with the yoga poses. It's like, it was the perfect recipe my body was looking for that day. It was such a beautiful, beautiful experience!
I also loved it when Sonia would add a little humor in the midst of doing yoga poses. She made the yoga experie even more light & enjoyable.
Some of the yoga poses were a bit challenging, but it's actually what my body was craving for because after each pose, I could feel my body with such relief...like all the bad energies were squeezed out & released...and all I could say was...BEAUTIFUL!
Such a beautiful feeling!
What made it more amazing were our guides: Jo, Paloma, and of course, Sonia! They were so friendly & approachable & observant of our needs/concerns even before we'd ask them!
They let us be who we are, on our pace & on our style while learning, and I never felt pressured to rush. To me, that's very effective because even if I'm a little slower at the beginning in learning, I never felt bad about myself or embarrassed because they were very supportive and non-judgmental.
I enjoyed the rock climbing, too, and I learned more on this trip than my first rock climbing trip in 2013.
