Join this teacher training in Bali as you live and embody the teachings of yoga with this comprehensive 200-hour yoga teacher training. This training gives you the tools and knowledge to deepen your personal practice, awaken new inspirations, perspectives, and confidence to teach yoga with a solid foundation. Through regular practice, the perception of self begins to expand an awakening to the truth of ones' being. Expand your knowledge to the understanding of yoga as you deepen your relationship with yourself.
During this yoga teacher training, you will be staying in one of deluxe rooms or standard rooms at Bhanuswari Resorts and Spa, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. For your stay, you can choose a single room with a double king-size bed or a twin shared room with two twin-size beds.
On Monday to Friday, the daily activities follow the typical schedule below. Every Saturday is the free day, and every Sunday follows a less intensive schedule. The typical schedule is as follows:
You'll learn a detailed breakdown of each pose and an overview of the five main categories of postures: standing poses, forward bends, back bends, twists, and inversions. You’ll also explore how to safely go into and out of each pose, offering proper adjustments, modifications, foundation, alignment, and symmetry, as well as the benefits and contraindications for each asana.
You will start teaching each other in the first week. The practice of teaching begins slowly with teaching one-on-one and then gradually builds to teach small groups for the final practice. Feeling Soul Good gives lots of time for teaching practice to help build confidence, self-esteem, and allow the teachings to be fully integrated.
These specialty asana classes are usually offered on Sundays (typically your more relaxed, fun-filled day).
You will learn Acro yoga that helps build trust as it is working with a partner.
This yoga is for both adults and children as it brings out the inner child in the adult, and initiates lots of laughter and play for all ages.
This yoga brings an understanding to some of the basic poses used for pregnant women.
There are many different styles and ways to meditate. You will explore three different methods, so you may find the best fit for you.
1-hour pranayama session each day is devoted to conscious breathing, bandhas, mudras, and kriya practice.
You will explore the two most important ancient texts: The Yoga Sutras and The Bhagavad Gita.
You will learn how various systems of the body connect with various movements and poses. Discover how the bones, muscles, and joints are connected with various asanas.
The subtle anatomy is an introduction to the unseen bodies of the chakras system. Discover how the chakras function without physical and spiritual bodies, and how the chakras affect your subconscious.
Feeling Soul Good encourages the freedom of using one’s voice; through mantras, singing, vocal play, and by simply allowing yourself to open and transform stuck energy. Discovering vibration is a subtle process, as with your thinking, your intentions, and the words you use. This process will allow you to deepen your inner connection, and it will provide you with a valuable healing tool that you can use for the rest of your life.
You will receive a sound bath that takes you on an inward journey which encourages deep relaxation and healing.
Let your food be your medicine. You will explore healthy eating habits and the use of food in healing.
Reprogram the subconscious through rotating conscious.
Ceremonies is honoring the unseen energies, the elements, and the rhythms of moon cycles.
You will learn to awaken energy blocks through the power of breath.
You will learn to transfer healing energy.
In respect for the group and the teachers, Feeling Soul Good requests that students arrive in ample time before the beginning of every class. Any late arrivals may find that they are not admitted into the class.
In all training, there is silence from the beginning of the day until and including breakfast. It has been found that the practice of silence allows students to assimilate and digest the morning practice.
Feeling Soul Good teacher training adheres to a strict 100% alcohol, cigarette and drug free policy.
Homework is given for the students to clarify their understanding of any new information or teachings that you receive during class. All students are requested to keep up to date with their homework and inform Feeling Soul Good if they have difficulties or issues with the homework they are given.
If the student has any personal problems or difficulties with anybody on the training (teacher or student), please talk to one of the teachers so they can mediate and support a flowing relationship to be established. People grow by learning from being in relationship with others.
Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Ashtanga Yoga)
Sequoia’s yogic journey began with the very disciplined practice of the Iyengar tradition. After years of practicing the Iyengar lineage, she cultivated her own personal practice and discipline, which organically transformed her asana practice into a mixture of the Ashtanga and Hatha schools. Now, she teaches the traditional practice of Hatha yoga incorporating space for inner awareness and witnessing, which allows one to deepen inner connection beyond the physical body.
As a gymnast from a young age, Marita realised early on that she’s happiest upside-down – and when she found yoga, it was love at first downward dog. More than 15 years after that first class she still finds joy within each practice. Marita began teaching Iyengar-influenced yoga in 2002 after apprenticing with her first teacher Bernie Peterson. A few years later, she discovered Vinyasa yoga, and relished the freedom of flowing through movement and connecting with breath – her yoga practice became a moving meditation. Marita’s teaching can now be described as alignment-based Vinyasa.
Pablo is a certified Hatha Vinyasa yoga instructor with the intention to expand his spiritual quests. He met and practiced different styles and different systems of yoga, including the rigor of Ashtanga, integrity of Anusara, the precision of Iyengar, the nobility of inbound, the fluidity of Vinyasa, the softness and certainty of Hatha, all while maintaining his Bhakti devotion practice. Through this, he saw that diversity is necessary and learned from each style the freedom to integrate multiple visions without limiting himself to just one teacher or one line of practice.
This 200-hour yoga teacher training will take place at Bhanuswari Resorts and Spa, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. It is a beautifully manicured retreat center that is surrounded by rice fields and a spacious landscape, nestled 20-minute away from the hustle of Ubud. Learn in a quiet setting surrounding nature that gives you more peace of mind and connection to nature of Bali. This venue, Bhanuswari, is located about 1-hour north of the airport, which is 20-minute from Ubud. Ubud has a bit of everything from great healers, shops, and delicious vegetarian restaurants.
