"Peaceful time with activities in a remote place"
Everything was wonderful. Hosts are very welcoming and kind, location was very nice and peaceful, with old houses (but great facilities), walking paths in fields and cute dogs to lead you. Food was great, both tasty and healthy. There were plenty activities as well as peaceful time for yourself (meditation place under the oak in the fields is great). Painting teacher was very kind and it was great and rare combination with yoga and meditation.

Beautiful surroundings, great yoga, meditation and painting sessions. Overall is was very relaxing and felt like a real holiday. We were encouraged to flow with what felt right to us at the time so that everything was optional. Food was exceptional and they made a strong effort to accommodate dietary needs.

"Inspiring and relaxing week at Faysselle."
I enjoyed everything that week: the yoga sessions with Gaby in the morning, the painting sessions with Songul, the meditation sessions with Gaby in the late afternoon, the food prepared by Judy an Will as well as the wonderful surroundings.

We booked Fayselle on the strength of the reviews we read on this site. We were not too fussy about location (except that we wanted a tranquil spot) and the glowing reports (plus photos of the dogs!) made it stand out. We were not disappointed, and had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. The gites themselves are beautifully appointed, set in in lovely grounds that you're encouraged to explore. Judy and Tom are charming and thoughtful hosts. They immediately made us feel relaxed, and maintained a great balance of discretion and friendliness. They clearly take a lot of pride in their business - evident in the immaculately maintained grounds, gites and swimming pool. We found that all our needs were catered to, from highchair, baby bath and cot provided for our son, to details such as essential provisions supplied on arrival. Many of their guests are repeat visitors, and after our stay we can understand why. They are fantastic hosts and Fayselle a wonderful spot.

So, we're back for our umpteenth visit to this little corner of south west France which is somehow locked into rural French life of the last century. Roads so quiet you can walk for hours and see no more than an ancient tractor, or this morning an old French farmer driving his pony and trap. Faysselle is a quaint property of three pretty gites but with all the modern comforts we might expect - dishwashers, wifi, etc. beautiful large pool and acres of garden, woods, fields to explore. Judy is a fantastic hostess, welcoming and helpful especially with the local language if your French is a bit rusty. We have returned year after year for the peace and beautiful countryside, the rustic local cuisine, the historic 'bastide' towns and most of all Faysselle's special atmosphere.
