"Yog Vashishth" are Sanskrit words and the title of a famous book written by Saint Vashishth on the subject of yoga. As the family behind ESSR Sports & Wellness UK, India & Greece belongs to the lineage of Saint Vashishth and conducts daily yoga classes, the name "Yog Vashishth" was chosen for the hotel to reflect this heritage. It takes just a 2-minute casual walk to reach the banks of the holy Ganges from the hotel.

Hotel Yog Vashishth is a 3-star category hotel situated in one of the best areas in and around Swargashram, Rishikesh—the yoga capital of the world—a serene and peaceful locale away from the main highway.

Program

Participants can engage in various activities, including white water rafting on the Ganges, touring the foothills of the Himalayas, and attending local festivals and events. Indian Dance Workshops and the Celebration of Rishikesh Art and Temple Festivals

This program aims to combine music history with physical and mental well-being practices.

Rishikesh, known as the "Yoga Capital of the World," is recognized for its history of meditation and creativity. The Beatles Ashram, also called Chaurasi Kutia, offers a significant historical context as it was established in 1963 by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for Transcendental Meditation practitioners.

In 1968, the Beatles visited the ashram to learn Transcendental Meditation, which contributed to one of their most creative periods. They wrote numerous songs that featured on albums like the "White Album" and "Abbey Road." Although the ashram fell into disrepair in the 1990s, it was reopened in 2015 as part of the Rajaji Tiger Reserve and has since become a cultural site. Visitors can explore the meditation huts, murals, and the history connecting Eastern spirituality and Western pop culture.

During their time at the ashram in 1968, the Beatles engaged in daily Transcendental Meditation under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's guidance, leading to significant spiritual and creative developments. They wrote over 40 songs during this period, many of which appeared on subsequent albums. Their stay was marked by exploration of Rishikesh's natural beauty
