Ses Set Cases is a wonderful little piece of land. It all started in 1997, when the finca started to grow and develop, step by step, stone by stone; it has been the meeting point for family and friends ever since. Wide open doors, long tables, and inviting people in to enjoy this space is their philosophy. It is the people and their stories what give this place its wonderful spirit day in and day out.

Originally, Ses Set Cases was a farm compound with seven small adjoining family houses, each with their own cistern. Once, seven families maintained this traditional island agricultural farm with goats and sheep, as well as olive and almond orchards. Ses Set Cases has tried their best to capture its beautifully old and historical features.

The finca has six spacious double rooms, which are beautifully furnished and flooded with natural light. All rooms have mosquito nets, natural ventilation, and a private terrace or balcony.

This retreat blends the traditions of Ayurveda and Chinese medicine and aspires to rebalance you to relieve minor ailments and achieve greater health, vitality, and well-being. It also aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills to further develop better lifestyle choices when you go back to your daily life.

At the beginning of the retreat week, you will undergo an in-depth consultation in order to tailor-make the most suitable treatment plan for you. Start each day with yoga will help to remove stress, tension, and toxins from the body and also strengthen and tone your muscles through a series of asanas, or yoga positions. Discovering the beautiful benefits of yoga and learning how to incorporate it into your daily regime will be an invigorating, uplifting, and balancing experience.

In the afternoon, there will be time for organized optional activities or to let go and unwind, read a book, go for walks, and indulge yourself in doing nothing. Depending on your individualized treatment plan and preference, acupuncture with optional cupping therapy or Ayurvedic massage using natural and luxurious oils will be scheduled.

The integrative approach aims to work towards balancing, strengthening, and optimizing bodily functions. This will bring about increased well-being, reduction of fatigue and stress, improved blood circulation, reduction of pain, more restful sleep, and revitalization of your whole body.

In the evenings, you will round up the day with another relaxing yoga session followed by a delicious dinner. You are welcome you to join a range of events, such as sunset meditation and social activities. Apart from relaxing, you will learn and develop lifestyle skills, dietary advice, and yoga practices to bring about change for the better.

These will last beyond the end of the retreat and can easily be integrated into your life at home. You can join this exquisite retreat to nourish your body and soul regardless of age, health or fitness levels.

Daily Schedule

  • 07:30 - 09:00 Morning yoga practice
  • 10:00 - 11:00 Healthy Ayurvedic breakfast
  • 11:00 - 14:00 Relaxation time with one or two hours set aside for initial consultation and treatments
  • 14:00 - 14:30 Lunch, light snack bar
  • 14:30 - 17:00 Food demonstrations, time to relax, excursions to the beach, relaxation time by the swimming pool; you may also enjoy a vast range of Ayurvedic tea and lassi selection.
  • 17:00 - 18:30 Evening yoga practice
  • 19:30 Joint food preparation followed by a wonderful Ayurvedic dinner

Maeve O'Sullivan
Maeve has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science degree in Acupuncture. She subsequently transferred these skills to set up an acupuncture clinic in Dublin. Maeve has the ability to integrate and synergize traditional Chinese and Western medical approaches to achieve the optimal treatment for the individual. This is enabled by her high experience in both nursing and acupuncture.
Ingrid Reygers
Ingrid practices and passionately teaches holistic lifestyle, yoga, and Ayurvedic cooking to people from all around the world. She has completed her master of yoga and is a certified Ayurveda therapist. While spending time in Indian ashrams and sailing around the world with her family, she gained a vast knowledge of holistic healing systems and treatment skills. Her main focus is to help people live a more conscious life through daily routines, integrating yoga, massage, and preparing healthy and tasty meals that further enhance one's well-being.
Emilia Herting
Emilia achieved a Master of Science degree with honors in acupuncture and herbal medicine in London where she successfully ran her own clinic for several years before returning to Germany. She is known for her personal approach, warm nature, and positive results. Having learned from the best in the field, Emilia practices Dr. Tan's acupuncture for fast pain relief, a revolutionary treatment for pain and illness that gets quick results.

Soul food

Ayurvedic food plays a vital role at the winter rejuvenation retreat. The Ayurvedic kitchen, colorful, tasty, and flavorsome, is one of the retreat's greatest assets and the dishes prepared jointly will surprise and delight your sense of taste every day of your stay.

The food, which combines six main tastes (sweet, sour, salty, bitter, astringent, and pungent) is based on traditions that are more than 5000-years-old and experiences from India, and will be mainly made of organic ingredients from the region.

The tuition and explanations, during joint meal preparations, about the influences of food and spice combinations on your health, will set a solid basis for your private cooking back home. You will enjoy a selection of Ayurvedic teas, lassis, smoothies, and flavored waters from the extensive tea and snack bar. Please note that meat and alcohol are not served during the retreat.

Please book your flight to arrive at Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request.
