Our home for the weekend will be held in a beautiful secluded barn house with breathtaking views of Syndale Valley. The barn house is lovely and bright with an open planned layout. There are a lovely garden room and terrace with spectacular views as well as a log fire to keep you warm and cozy in the living room. The yoga and meditation space is very calming with plenty of natural light. The house has a selection of rooms available with stunning views of the garden or Syndale Valley.
This weekend retreat is all-inclusive and is the ideal get away to help quiet the mind for those with a busy work/life schedule. With Yoga Retreat Holidays' sincere approach and attention to each individual, offering you daily Yoga & Meditation classes, as well as a healthy nutritionally balanced diet and a place of peace and tranquility. Amber was born into a holistic & alternative family and has trained in various styles of yoga travelling through the southern & northern parts of India finding her feet. She loves to practice a more stimulating yoga style in the morning to increase energy flow like Ashtanga or Vinyasa and a healing Hatha & Yin practice to wind down in the evening. With every practice she combines the rhythm of breath with movement, being mindful & present, connecting with your true self, bringing awareness to your alignment & healing to where it is needed most. Her classes are down to earth, fun and creative.
Ivan Modlinger-Ali (Guest teacher)
Ivan was brought up a Buddhist, his parents practicing Tai Chi and yoga regularly always inspired Ivan in that way of being. He plans to work with people within the mental health sector introducing them to Qigong and the amazing power it has to help manage your well being. Ivan completed his training with the Shiatsu college of London & is a 500 hour advanced Qigong Meditation teacher & a Reiki master with years of experience. Ivan is passionate about healing your body through nutritious food & will be preparing meals during your stay as well as teaching mindful outdoor Meditation classes.
This retreat will take place in a beautiful and tranquil part of Kent. Overlooking Syndale Valley and surrounded by beautiful country and coastal walks.
Enjoy daily freshly made juices, wholesome and nutritious vegetarian/vegan meals during your stay with us. Gluten-free diet is available and mostly organic produce used. Prepared with love and care from our inspirational kitchen team!
During your free time, book yourself a massage delight with one of our fantastic therapists. You can choose from; holistic, sports, deep tissue, acupressure, reiki healing, aromatherapy, reflexology, or Indian head massage. 30-minute sessions cost 30 GBP and 60-minute sessions cost 50 GBP. There is a 1-hour direct fast train service from London St Pancras International to Faversham. The retreat venue is a 5-minute taxi journey from Faversham station. If you are traveling by public transport there is a 15-minute bus journey to the retreat venue. Once booked, you will receive a map and address to help you locate the venue.
