Alojamiento

The Podere la Valle is a small hamlet of three buildings offering a capacity of 16 to 28 people in five apartments of one or two bedrooms, each equipped with a living room with open kitchen and one or two bathrooms. One apartment meets accessibility standards for people with disabilities.

Each apartment is designed for independent use and can be occupied together for the stay of a large family, a group of friends, for an internship or a residential seminar. Indeed, activities can be organized on the spot in the "Fienile" which houses a room of 60 square meters equipped with a foyer and toilets.

In the same building, under the hall, a living-library-dining room with fireplace can accommodate 20 guests and overlooks a large shaded terrace. A professional kitchen is available.

In the main building, a wellness area (Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna, and massage area) is accessible. An open and heated swimming pool of 14 by six meters is at the disposal of the guests.

Yoga Bicycle Italy Yoga Retreat Program

Tobias and Ingy will take you through meditation in the morning, followed by Hatha yoga. You will then have the opportunity to go for a bike ride or take a long walk across the Tuscan hills. You'll discover charming villages and fine wines cellars. To close the day smoothly, you will have a Yin yoga practice (soft yoga).

  • 12:30 Lunch time followed by time to chill-out or enjoy the nearby villages or the pool

On three days, there will be an excursion to discover the nearby surroundings, either by walking or biking.

Instructores

Ingy Ganga
Ingy has loved travelling ever since her childhood. She met yoga in 2004, a new tool gathering a corporal knowledge and a philosophy of life. Since then, she has been researching, learning, and sharing it step-by-step with the people close to her. The destiny finally made her passion as her main activity. She has been teaching regular classes in Paris since 2005, to adults and kids, in a well-known yoga studio in the Marais, Paris. Ingy adapts her classes to the moods and movements of the seasons to bring up her her own mixture of Hatha, Yin yoga, and dance.
Tobias Rafoth
Tobias is a keen traveler who enjoys discovering new horizons. Nevertheless, when he got in touch with meditation through a Vipassana retreat, he realized that there is a lot to discover in each own self. He keeps on his travels, guiding people around continents walking, biking, or boating. He is willing to invite people into a new destination, the meditation continent. His aim is to share deeper and with more consciousness the experience of life. He had already beautiful expeditions with children and elders, so Tobias understands and plays with all kind of souls and languages.

Alimentos

During this retreat, you will served homemade food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All meals will be vegetarian food, mostly organic and local. You may contact Yoga Bicycle for any special diet request. Mostly, you will eat in the house. For the days when you will have a biking excursion, you will be having a homemade picnic on the way.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Florence Airport (FLR) or Pisa International Airport (PSA).

Arrival by train

You may also get a train from Pisa or Florence to Castellina in Chianti for arounf 8 EUR. The duration of the trip is 90 minutes. From Castellina, Yoga Bicycle can organize a bus or taxi for you for the last five kilometers to the workshop.
