The didactics and methodology

Yoga is intimately related to life and living. It is difficult to equate it with only one aspect of life whether it is physical, intellectual, or emotional. Though in yoga, all these areas are involved in different ways. When it comes to techniques, it should be clear that they are there to help you to bring philosophy to the practical level as well as to apply it in your daily life.

Thus, the traditionalists in yoga recommended a combination of right feelings and right attitudes (Bhavas) with certain selected physical activities (Asanas, etc). If the activity is the right kind and the attitude also enriches ones consciousness, then the entire exercise is very satisfying and elevating.

Keeping that in mind, Wise Living Yoga Academy follows the didactics and methodology of the worlds oldest organized yoga institute in India, which has been applied in its teacher training programs for over five decades. It is a method of teaching yoga based on attitude training and experiential learning, making use of Bhavas-oriented techniques and conceptual activities for imparting yoga training and philosophy. This causes a greater impression in the conscious and subconscious mind.
