Flavio grew up in Mexico City with a passion for innovative ideas and extreme sports and, like many people, he began practicing yoga to cure an injured ankle in 2001 while he was studying industrial engineering. He was fascinated at the way the human body mimicked the industrial machines he was studying and through his Hatha yoga practice, he correlated the repair of his body to a technical repair like the restoration of a machine. Flavio was certified to teach in 2011 and shortly after, he came to the Mexican Caribbean and Tulum to find more yoga and balance in his life.
