The Ark offers a wonderful space, surrounded by rice fields and a lush jungle, a home away from home, to nourish and treat you while you are on your Ubud yoga retreat adventure. With a selection of luxurious suites, apartments, rooms and a dorm you’ll find your space at The Ark. The pool and infrared sauna are perfect for your free time to relax, rest, reset and recharge, and dropping into self-care and nourishment.
The space is gorgeous, perfectly located, distant from the craziness of crowded Ubud Center, but still close enough to explore its offerings, if you ever want to leave. You'll back onto an undisturbed valley, surrounded by rice fields, have lush gardens, and at night you’re fortunate to see a heaven full of stars and in the quietness hear the healing sounds of nature.
This program includes the Five Elements Meridian System of traditional Chinese medicine. Each day, you'll explore one of the Five Elements, work with the specific meridians in Hatha and Yin yoga practice, look at the psycho-emotional connection and balance your well-being. Mindfulness is the daily mantra and helps you to cruise through everything which arises.
This retreat allows you to dive deeply into yourself and to share your precious being with your intimate retreat-group. It will transform your ability to feel connected to yourself and others and impact your Ife in its essence.
You'll work together with an amazing Ayurvedic spa that offers you additional care if you wish so. And to respect the beautiful Bali, Balinese culture is included in this program. You’ll have a Balinese opening ceremony, a Balinese cooking, and medicine class and on the last day, you’ll go to the water temple for the final purification.
During this retreat, there will be free time during the week to enjoy the beautiful pool, rice fields, treatments, books, Ubud, or whatever your heart desires. This is a warm welcoming home, providing the setting for you to share, learn, heal, and grow – where you can meet and connect with like-minded souls; opening your heart and feeling held by a loving community.
Jane (39) first discovered yoga via a free class at university. She has been practicing ever since! Her wanderlust at 20 led her to India, she has lived over the globe and spent the last 12 years in and out of Patagonian Andes. She is deeply rooted in her yoga and meditation practice and is passionate about sharing her experiences. Specializing in Vinyasa, alignment, and heart opening meditation, she provides a beautiful balance between flow and workshop style classes, allowing for deeper exploration of the asana and embodiment of yoga.
Sam (30) is an educator, yoga teacher and a dance / movement therapist. New Zealand born and European raised, she specializes in the holistic therapy of dance movement; honoring the body, mind, and spirit - celebrating the whole human being. Combined with her beautiful studies in Yin and Hatha yoga, she gently guides people, enabling deep release, relaxation, and reconnection. Through yoga and embodied movement, she enables the uncovering of unconscious patterning; inner processes activation, and the allowance of self-healing and self-transformation.
This retreat will take place at The Ark Retreat Centre Banjar, Penestanan Kelod, Ubud, Bali.

In this retreat, delicious vegan breakfast and lunch as well as a welcome dinner, goodbye dinner, and one group dinner are included. The Balinese cook and raw food chef will prepare a variety of healthy Balinese food and raw food for you to enjoy. For the other three evenings, you may explore the many nice restaurants and warungs in the area. Healthy juices, snacks, and raw, vegan chocolate are available at an additional price.
