Il Convento has been recently refurbished but conserves the charm of an ancient building of the 17th century with a strong sense of spirituality. Around the monastery, there are beautiful gardens, vegetable gardens, and forest. The structure is well equipped to host yoga and holistic disciplines retreats.
The monastery offers mainly single rooms with en suite bathrooms in a simple and comfortable style. In the case of couple or friends, they also have few double rooms available. Please write them for further details.
Subala, Martina, and Nirbay, three experienced yoga teachers, will lead the retreat guiding two classes of Hatha and Integral yoga with elements of Kundalini, two-thirds meditations including one walking meditation, Osho active meditation, and evening meditations per day. In one evening after your dinner, there will be one session of yoga Nidra for deep relaxation and one evening Bhajans, devotional chantings.
In the morning, Jala Neti Kriya, the nasal cleaning, will be practiced before the class. During the free time, it will be possible to receive one holistic massage in 75 minutes and one Reiki treatment which are both included in the package. One afternoon will be given as the free time between your lunch and dinner and it will be possible to organize an excursion at an extra cost.
The retreat is directed to every person who has already practiced a bit of yoga and meditation and has an awareness of what means to be in an environment that encourages self-enquiry, reflection, and meditation.
