In this retreat, you will wake up to meditations presence and guided soul work explorations that are intuitive, deep as well as liberating. Playful, fun yoga and healing techniques will balance and brighten your body’s energy centers. You’ll laugh, learn, share and incorporate new ways of being into your life at home. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Dahlonega, Georgia, this personal discovery and yoga retreat will be hosted by Soul Nourish Retreats’ Shari L. Fox and Mandy Roberts, yoginis, friends and soulful women leaders.

Enneagram

Enneagram is a system of self-discovery that melds beautifully with yoga and it enlivens and deepens much of the Soul Nourish Retreats' programming. The Enneagram works by providing insight into your intimate relationships (including your relationship to yourself) through a personalized map for growth and freedom. It studies human nature and personality as a key to unlocking your gifts. It works hand-in-hand with a practice of mindful presence, empowering you with the tools you actually need to live life fully engaged and to be kind to yourself.

Yoga

Classes at this retreat are appropriate for all-levels (even beginners). Along with deep soul work, yoga is an important part of Soul Nourish Retreats women’s weekend, so you’ll have the chance to sample Vinyasa, bowspring, Restorative, yoga Nidra and everything in between.

Itinerary

Friday

  • Morning: Arrivals and check in
  • Afternoon: Lunch, massage*, welcome ceremony and intentions, all-levels yoga
  • Evening: Dinner, soul night and sacred vibes labyrinth ritual

Saturday

  • Morning: Flow, meditation, breakfast, workshop and yoga
  • Afternoon: Lunch, spa*, nature trails, awakening sessions, free time
  • Evening: Dinner, "Unwind and Relax: Aromatherapy Bodywork" (as known as “The Best Savasana Ever”)

Sunday

  • Morning: Flow, meditation, breakfast, the amazing closing circle
  • Afternoon: Farewell

Note

The program will begin on Friday at 11:00 and concludes Sunday just before lunch. Soul Nourish Retreats recommends exploring the quaint town and local waterfalls with your soul sisters after the closing circle. You can also enjoy a massage or peaceful hike at the retreat center Sunday afternoon.

Optional items are marked on the schedule with a (*) and you’ll be responsible for massage / spa appointments and additional wine / beer. Staff tips are always at your discretion based on your personal experience.

    Shari’s work is the soul. Her meditations and workshops are personal, intuitive, deep, and liberating. Focusing on what fuels you and what frees you, she uses the Enneagram to integrate psychology and spirituality with mind-body practices. You will feel safe to let your hair down, revel in a-ha moments that shift what’s possible, and reconnect with what matters to you.

    Mandy’s all-level and beginner-friendly Vinyasa classes are a sweet and sweaty celebration. She loves to embody playfulness on the mat, gently exploring and encouraging poses to challenge and empower her students to keep learning and growing. You’ll move to the beat of the music, you may cry, and you’ll surely laugh. You’ll make friends and build community. You will have fun.

You will spend the weekend enjoying a gorgeous retreat and wellness center in Dahlonega, Georgia, USA which is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You’ll love the fresh air and colors of nature. Traditionally Cherokee land, its name is derived from the brilliant sparkling gold in its soil.

The mountains of North Georgia are home to waterfalls, wineries, art galleries and forests. The retreat place is one to three hours driving time from Greenville and Columbia in South Carolina, Knoxville, Tennessee, Charlotte, Greensboro and Winston-Salem in North Carolina as well as Athens and Atlanta in Georgia.

All of the delicious meals are focused on healthy seasonal ingredients. Soul Nourish Retreats will provide hot tea and coffee, water and yummy snacks, too. Speciality beverages such as Mayan hot cocoa or optional natural wine tasting varies by seasonal retreat.
