You will be staying at Puzhao Temple. Puzhao Temple is nestled among the beautiful trees and streams of the serene Qingcheng Mountain, a world heritage site. This ancient temple is a famous retreat destination. The dining and residential halls were reconstructed about six years ago with modern features for an international clientele. The yoga training will be held in the quiet, newly-constructed meditation hall.

This 4-week course, which offers a profound personal experience, will allow you to transmit the knowledge of yoga to others. A teaching certificate from the ISYVC will be awarded upon successful completion of this immersion course. The ISYVC has trained over 35,000 yoga teachers to date since 1969. The curriculum includes asanas, pranayama, meditation, Vedanta philosophy, anatomy / physiology, Bhagavad Gita, mantra, and kriyas. Please note one day per week will be free, but satsang must still be attended.

Vegetarian meals will be served during the retreat. The meals are not included in the price.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU). Airport pick-up is not included in the price. It is easiest to take a taxi from the airport to get to the temple. For more information on airport transfers, please send Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm an inquiry.

Arrival by bus/train

You can take a fast or normal train from the Chengdu Raiway Station to Qingchengshan Station. From there, you can take a taxi or take Bus line 102 to get to the temple.The nearest coach bus station is the Dujiangyan Bus Sation, where you can also take Bus line 102.
