You will spend four nights in a shared cottage that has two bedrooms and an attached toilet - you will be sharing the bathroom, but sleep in separate rooms.


Relax, connect with nature, and detox your body systems while enjoying the natural surroundings. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi, you have your place here. Explore the alignment of your posture and the smooth transitions from one pose to another. In the morning, enjoy the energetic and balanced flow of a rhythmic sequence and unknown breathing techniques and before noon, experience natural treatment to detox your whole body system which will open energy channels in your body.

During the evening, enjoy deep and meditative yoga sessions to strengthen internal muscles. You will learn simple and effective tools to calm the mind and to lead a healthy lifestyle through asana, pranayama, and meditation. There will be special attention given to each of you on the diet part. Fruits, juices, and natural organic food to purify your blood, as well as to strengthen your digestive and nervous system. Deep relaxation and motivational lectures will maintain your positive energy.

Detox defined

The term detoxification is one that is commonly associated with alcohol, drug, and substance abuse. Saptrashmi relates it to dieting and weight loss, in “diet detox”. However, beyond this popular belief, detoxification is also a process aiming to eliminate all the negative effects on our body from the environment, such as industrial chemicals, pesticides, additives in our foods, secondary smoke, pollutants, or heavy metals. Nowadays, internal detoxification is adopted by healthy individuals to keep their body systems in pristine condition.

Detoxification refers mainly to the removal of toxic substances and both kidney and colon cleansing, as these organs are involved in the detoxification of chemicals and toxins from the body. Saptrashmi detoxification is performed in a variety of ways using yoga, naturopathy, and Ayurveda tried and tested ancient techniques.

Reasons to detox

Detoxification is one of the best ways to remain healthy in a polluted and toxic environment. These are signs that detoxification is needed: unexplained headaches or back pain, memory failing, brittle nails and hair, frequent allergies, exposure to cleansing solvents, pesticides, diuretics, and certain drugs, etc.

One of the benefits of detoxification is that liver, kidney, and blood purification can take place, which wouldn’t occur during regular eating patterns. Other advantages include: the immune system stimulated, the hormonal system is enhanced, and dependency on substances such as sugar, caffeine, nicotine, or alcohol can be reduced.

On an emotional and spiritual level, Ayurvedic practices are of the oldest, fastest, and safest methods for reducing tension and restoring equanimity to the whole system. When accompanied with the right balance of yoga, relaxation and wise guidance can also be successful at breaking addictions.

Side effects

Bodily and emotional reactive symptoms are inevitable, as you will be carrying out a process of detoxification. They come in waves, often lasting just a few hours, rarely more than a day, and always changing. Saptrashmi is with you throughout this process, reminding you that this is just a part of the process and that it will all pass. It is not uncommon to hear participants complain that they experience no challenging symptoms whatsoever.

Arrival by Bus

Please book your tickets to Dharmshala Volvo Bus from Delhi ISBT which departs every night. Airport/Bus transfers can be arranged by Saptrashmi.
