Alojamiento

Throughout this amazing retreat, you will be staying at an Edwardian country house situated in Kent. The house is rather like an exotic ashram, unique and special. The house can accommodate up to eight guests and has beautiful bedrooms of dormitory style. There are three bedrooms with futon-Rollaway floor beds, minimal decor, beautiful feather duvets, white crisp linen sheets, and an Indian silk-curtained sleeping space.

The Mysore and Jalaja bedrooms have a max occupancy of four persons. These bedrooms are 25x15ft, high ceilings and spacious.The Kingini bedroom, which is smaller, is suitable to accommodate two persons and at the moment I'm holding it for male bookings. There will be no mix room, as women will share with women.

There are two bathrooms with bath and toilet. A hand-held shower is available in one of the bathrooms. In addition, there is a special yoga room called The Secret Shala, which has a hot yoga heating system of 25 to 30 degrees.

Instructores

Sky Jane
After a life-long professional career in dance, it is Ashtanga yoga that provides a continuum for Sky Jane. Over the past years, she has traveled to Asia to get first-hand experience of Eastern culture, arts, and therapies. Today, she brings it all together to create a type of exotic ashram-teaching and hopefully inspiring one to adopt a balanced lifestyle through yoga. Her Ashtanga yoga teachers have been accredited by the Jois Institue since it is her passion to teach truth to the traditional method. Sky is a bodyworker in Thai yoga massage and Chavutti Thirumal - accredited and insured.
Susan Hayes
Susan is a psychotherapist and bodyworker. She is also a professional dancer and dance teacher. She has traveled the world as a student of Tai Chi and Qi Gong, taking classes with the masters of this ancient Chinese tradition. Susan brings together her knowledge of dance, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and bodywork to help her students fully reconnect to their body.

Alimentos

During this retreat, you will be served with daily wholesome breakfast, lunch, and supper. The diet for the retreat is vegan and, loosely based on a Southern Indian Ayurvedic menu. Meals are very simple and easy on the digestive system. The meal plan is vegan. Fresh vegetables juices and fruit smoothies will also be available daily.

In the aims for healthy fit life, you will be using the weekend to clear down the digestive system and get back to a simple diet of fresh produce. Moreover, this is a non-alcohol weekend retreat. Please contact Santosha if you have any other dietary requirements.

  • %Occasionally, Santosha is able to provide a Gong/Sound Bath or a guest speaker for guests. There is an extra charge 15 GBP. Guests will be notified prior to arrival of what is available for their retreat and how to secure a space.

¿Cómo llegar?

Arrival by train

Please take a train to arrive at the Hildenborough Station. You can take a train from London Charing Cross or Cannon Street Station as both routes are direct to Hildenborough Station. Santosha at The Secret Shala is only four minutes away from the Hildenborough Station by foot.
