Alojamiento

Throughout this amazing retreat, you will be staying at an Edwardian country house situated in Kent. The house is rather like an exotic ashram, unique and special. The house can accommodate up to eight guests and has beautiful bedrooms of dormitory style. There are three bedrooms with futon-rollaway floor beds, minimalist decoration, beautiful feather duvets, white crisp linen sheets, and an Indian silk-curtained sleeping space.

Two of the rooms have a maximum occupancy of four persons. These bedrooms are 25 x 15 feet, high ceilings and spacious. The third room accommodates two persons and at the moment, Santosha is holding it for male bookings only. There will be no mixed room as women will share with other women.

There are two bathrooms with bath and toilet. A hand-held shower is available in one of the bathrooms. In addition, there is a special yoga room called The Secret Shala, which has a hot yoga heating system of 25 to 30 degrees.

You can enjoy open fires during the winter season, listen to music in the comfortable house, and read a good book in a cozy room. Also, you can reconnect with nature during a walk down country lanes and relax at the outside decking area during summer.

Sky Jane
From professional dancer to Ashtanga Yoga teacher has been one exciting journey. It was during a trip to LA I found mysef in an Ashtanga Yoga Mysore class and it totally gripped me. It resonated with my love of freedom of movement coupled with routine sequencing and alignment. I'd found a new passion. The next step was India, so every year I return to Mysore to re connect with my teachers and the very source of yoga. I believe in the power of all Eastern healing arts and qualified in Thai yoga therapy - Chavutti Thirumal - Ayurvedic Marma Therapy - Thai Foot Massage and Nada Yoga.

Alimentos

During this retreat, you will be served with daily wholesome breakfast, lunch, and supper. The diet for the retreat is vegan and loosely based on a southern Indian Ayurvedic menu. Meals are very simple and easy to the digestive system.

Fresh vegetable juices will be available daily. In the aims of healthy fit life, you will be using the weekend to clear down the digestive system and get back to a simple diet of fresh produce. Moreover, this is a non-alcohol weekend retreat. Please contact Santosha if you have any other dietary requirements.

¿Cómo llegar?

Arrival by train

Please take a train to arrive at the Hildenborough station. You can take a train from London Charing Cross or Cannon Street station as both routes are direct to Hildenborough station. Santosha at The Secret Shala is only four minutes away from the Hildenborough station by foot.
