  • About the activity: on arrival in Manali check into the retreat center. The day is free to relax.

Day 1 - Manali local sightseen, Nagar Heritage village & local village visit

In the early morning around 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., there will be an asana yoga class. After your yoga class, enjoy your delicious breakfast at 8:30 a.m. After breakfast, pack your bag and get ready for Manali local sightseeing. You will proceed to Visit the 450 years old Hadimba Devi Temple built in the tranquil and serene woods, the oldest temple in Manali, Tibetan center & monastery, Club House, Vanvihar, Mall Road Manali and Vashisht village, known for its hot Sulphur springs. Enjoy the freshly cooked traditional Himachali cuisine for lunch. From 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., there will be a meditation class, dinner will be at 7:30 p.m & overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2 - Manali - Jogini vashist waterfall Manali

In the early morning around 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., there will be a yoga class. After your yoga class, enjoy your delicious breakfast at 8:30 a.m. After breakfast, pack your bag and get ready for the trek. Enjoy the trek from Manali town, after crossing the main bridge over the river Beas and walk north towards the village of Vashisht, which is three kilometers away. Situated three kilometers from Vashisht Temple. Begin your trek to the waterfalls from Bahang Village, with a steady ascent through the Vashisht Temple.

Take a dip in the renowned hot waters of the springs here that are believed to be beneficial for health. This is followed by a trek to the famous Jogini Waterfalls, where you can make and capture some of the best memories with your other group Members. The Jogini Waterfalls are popular among the locals and tourists alike for their sacredness and serene cascades The trek will take two to three hours (six kilometers). After a pleasant and invigorating hike, you will reach a peak. Enjoy the Packed traditional Himachali cuisine for lunch. After a relaxing refuge trek downhill, and conclude the activity. From 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., there will be a meditation class, dinner will be at 7:30 p.m & overnight in the hotel.

Key facts: the waterfall cascades down from a height of around 150 feet through multiple levels.

Difficulty: beginner; trail type: treelined roads and small water streams with moderate inclinations, trekking distance - six kilometers (one way)

Day 3 - Naggar to Varshani (Kalga village)

In the early morning around 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., there will be an asana yoga class. After your yoga class, enjoy your delicious breakfast at 8:30 a.m. After breakfast, pack your bag and get ready for the trek. Kalga, it is one of many small villages scattered across the Paravati Valley, the gorge that runs eastwards from the confluence of the Parvati and Beas rivers The most striking characteristic of Kalga is that it is unlike typical Himachali hamlets this side of the province. It lacks the hustle and bustle of village life, for a lot of the old houses, are abandoned.

What it definitely doesn’t lack is alpine beauty, of which there is plenty. A bowl of mountains topped with powder-white snows cradles the village. From Naggar to Vershani is four hours of the drive then followed by 30 minutes walk to Kalga village. Enjoy the freshly cooked traditional Himachali cuisine for lunch. From 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., there will be a meditation class, dinner will be at 7:30 p.m & overnight stay in the camps on the mountains.

Day 4 - Kalga to Kheerganga trek

In the early morning, you can see snow-capped Himalayan ranges in the Morning around 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., there will be an asana yoga class. After your yoga class, enjoy your delicious breakfast at 8:30 a.m. After breakfast, pack your bag and get ready for a trek to Kheer Ganga (3050 meters) lies at the extreme end of Parvati valley and the last inhibited village while trekking to pin valley via Pin-Parvati pass.

Kheerganga's panoramic skies and vast greenery are a much-needed delight to the trekker's eyes and especially the tired legs. It is a holy place with a hot water spring, a small temple of Lord Shiva and a bathing tank. It makes a rare combination for any trekker to bath in hot spring water when everything is covered by snow. After a pleasant and invigorating hike, enjoy the freshly cooked traditional Himachali cuisine for lunch. From 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., there will be a Meditation class, dinner will be at 7:30 p.m & overnight stay in the camp. Enjoy an overnight camp in the wilderness and enjoy some unadulterated peace and quiet, even if it is for a night.

Day 5 - Back to Naggar from Kheerganga

In the early morning, you can see snow-capped Himalayan ranges in the Morning around 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., there will be an asana yoga class. After your yoga class, enjoy your delicious breakfast at 8:30 a.m. After breakfast, pack your bag and get ready for trek downhill back to Naggar. After a pleasant and invigorating hike, enjoy the freshly cooked traditional Himachali cuisine for lunch. From 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., there will be a meditation class, dinner will be at 7:30 p.m & overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 6 - Check-out

  • You will wake at 6:00 a.m., take breakfast at around 8:30 a.m. The check-out is at 12:00 p.m.

Himachal Pradesh is truly a land of wonders and that is exactly what you will see in the cultural hub of the State, the city of Manali. A major attraction here is the site of Jogini Waterfalls and the trek that leads up to that. This activity takes you on a wonderous trek that leads to the Jogini falls. The starting point of the trek, however, are the famous hot springs of the Vashisth temple, known for their therapeutic effects. Then followed by bijli mahadev trek , which people after one visit call “Electric Mahadev” because the experience is truly electrifying! The legendary temple is located on top of Mathan Hills in Kullu Valley.

Kullu valley is also known as “Valley of Gods”. Hampta pass trek is one of the most beautiful treks in the Himalayas where the campsites are within arm's length of the majestic peaks such as Indrasan. The contrast of Lahaul and Spiti landscape which smacks you when least expected and the stunning Chandratal lake which is the icing on the cake will make this trek an unforgettable experience.

The best and most convenient way to travel to Manali is to take flight from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to Chandigarh Airport (DED) as it is inexpensive compared to taxi fees and the duration is also shorter. As soon as you book your flight, forward Yoga Retreat in the Himalayas with your flight details and they will send their driver to welcome you at Chandigarh Airport.
