During this retreat, you will be staying in Udara Resort, Seseh Beach, Bali with the options of a private room or shared double room. Most rooms have ocean view. Located directly on the beach between Canggu center and Tanah Lot, the brand new Udara Resort, which opens its doors for the first time in the autumn of 2017 and freshly carved, is actually literally meant here.

Blankets are made in loving handwork, furniture, and entablature are decorated with country-style ornaments. Nestled in a tropical green garden, there are 23 rooms, a top-equipped spa with Watsu pool, and an exquisite restaurant, all waiting to be diligently inhabited and used. Yoga takes place here in one of the four spacious Yogaräume with a fantastic view of the sea.


Before you start your journey in this retreat, you will all take two days to land after long travels to acclimatize and let your soul, mind, and heart land on the tropical island of Bali. You are going to start easy on the second day with a welcome round and a beach sunset walk. Enjoy seven days of twice daily yoga practices traditional Hatha yoga, Vinyasa, Yin, yoga Nidra, pranayama, meditation, and mantra chanting.

All practices are mindful and skillfully thought out and designed, to stabilize, balance, and recharge your whole being in a sense of body, mind, and soul. You can also choose to nourish yourself with Balinese massages. There is spa, sauna, hot water, and saltwater pool for you to enjoy. Other than that, you can also take a long walk on the beach to unwind. The promise of yoga is nothing less than the one of ultimate freedom and fulfillment.

The yoga tradition outlines two paths that lead to its final goals which are the path of knowledge or known as the moon and the path of power and light or known as the sun. Knowledge is clear seeing, it is the gift of a still mind and the ability to perceive yourself and your world completely. Sun, prana, and power are limitless creative energy, the vital force of spirit which your world is formed of and that enable you to live, to be, and to become.

On the yogic path of consciousness and light, you will celebrate both knowledge and power including moon, sun, purusha, and prakritti. Supported by nature and the fresh ocean breeze, you will be nourished and supported in your practices and self-transformational journey inward. Allow these days to breathe deeply, to soothe and expand your mind, to feel, and to come into contact with your soul.

Rejoice in an exciting, fun, and heart-touching while expanding yoga experience. Every session of yoga will be a complete yogic practice, integrating the broad spectrum what the yoga tradition can offer which are asana, pranyama, meditation, and mantra.

Yoga practice’s description (For all levels of yogis)

Moon Hatha: asana and meditation

Through the asana practice, stability and tranquility will be cultivated in the body and mind. A deep, nourishing practice with prolonged holding of poses. Standing attitudes as well as flooring are practiced to direct the consciousness more inward and touch the pure space of silence. In the classes, bends, twists, and long, conscious exhalation are practiced.

Sun Hatha: asana and pranayama

Creating livingness, vitality, inner strength, and cultivating a deeper relationship to prana or life energy. This asana practice is systematic and dynamic, incorporating conscious Vinyasa flow, standing poses, and soil positions. Here, you will extend the physical practice and deepen the conscious inhalation. Lateral extensions as well as backings will lead you deeper into your own energetic potency.


A physical strong, dynamic yoga practice, the synchronizing of movement and breath brings you into a focused and conscious state. Expand the range of your practice with these challenging, mindful, and creative alignment-based Vinyasa Flow classes. These classes are suggested for intermediate and advanced yoga practitioners.

Yin yoga

Yin yoga is a quiet, tendentially passive yoga style that is practiced mainly with sitting postures or lying down. In Yin yoga, it is mainly about relaxing in the asanas with the help of conscious breathing. By keeping the poses for a long time, deeper tensions are solved in the tissue layers, and it can support both mental, emotional, blockages, and trauma as well as the healing process.

Contemplatives Yin yoga is the perfect balance to the dynamic and muscular or known as Yang styles of yoga which consist of Hatha, Vinyasa, and more in order to achieve inner peace.


Wanda Badwal
Wanda's yoga classes are a blend of creative, mindful, and loving sequences that are both playfully challenging and spiritually uplifting. She shares an alignment based, elegant flow that includes all aspects of a complete practice asana, pranayama, savasana, and meditation. Whilst she has a broad range of experience, her strongest abilities lie in Vinyasa Flow, traditional Hatha yoga, and meditative practices like Restorative and Yin yoga. Her specialty is to infuse elements of music and mantra chanting during her classes.

Destino del retiro

This retreat will take place in Seseh Beach, Bali. It is located directly by ocean in the south west of Bali in the village of Seseh close to Canggu Village or North Kuta. Life, action, and ease, the coastal strip Canggu on Bali's southwestern coast is one of the most beautiful yoga and surfing hotspots of the entire island. Here, the hip yoga scene meets Bali on the surfer community.

Whether for the first time in Bali or as a Bali connoisseur, visitors are regularly enchanted by a very special and informal atmosphere. Wide dark beaches, great waves, colorful cafes, relaxed, and cheerful together who comes here, feels welcome. Despite its exposed location and proximity to the famous sea temple of Tanah Lot, Canggu has remained a true coastal jewel with a touch of Ibiza flair, a colorful mix of locals, yogis, and surfers determine the image and the feeling of life here.

Arrival by plane

Please book your flight to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). Transport from the airport to the hotel can be arranged with the hotel or Blue Bird taxis can be taken as well. The travel time will take around one hour and 30 minutes, depending on the traffic. Please contact Primavera Yoga for more information.
