Visit sacred caves and temples, meet sadhus, watch the sunrise in the Himalayas, sit by the sacred river Ganga, and participate in holy ceremonies. During your retreat, you will be accommodated at the Yoga Niketan Ashram. You will stay in an Ashram style single, clean, and safe room with private bathroom. Double room available upon request. During the hot season, A/C rooms are offered. You will also find a desk, chair, and an armoire, a little porch or balcony to relax or read your favourite book. Towels, soap, and toilet paper are provided.
All rooms are simple, yet quaint and immersed in a lush greenery. The yoga studio is fully equipped with mats, block, straps, and bolsters. This studio is within walking distance of each accommodation. Afternoon Ayurvedic tea is offered daily at 4:00 p.m and the library, open most of the day and evening, offers a wide selection of yogic texts also in English. Your morning 90-minute yoga class consists of traditional asana (styles include Hatha, Vinyasa, and Kriya), pranayama, and meditation. The evening 90-minute yoga class consists of Yin / Restorative yoga, pranayama, and meditation.
Every day you will learn a new meditation technique that you will be able to take with you and practice at your leisure. Open discussion and journaling will be of great help to deepen your practice and take full benefit of this time together.

Enjoy excursions in the Himalayas including a sunrise meditation. You will visit temples and sacred caves, participate in Indian traditional ceremonies such as puja and aarti by the holy river Ganga, and enjoy kirtan.
Om Sampoorn Yoga is centrally located at the Yoga Niketan Ashram, one of the most renowned in Rishikesh, the world's capital of yoga. Strategically situated on a little hill, with a breathtaking view of the river Ganga which is away from crowds and noises. Since the samadhi (tomb) of Guru Yogeshwarananda right by the yoga hall fills the space with sacred energy, the atmosphere is particularly peaceful and conducive to meditation, yoga, and self-discovery.

All meals are lovingly prepared in the Ashram's kitchen. They are nourishing, mainly organic, yogic and vegetarian. Enjoy a variety of Indian dishes that will leave you satisfied and ready for your practice. Daily afternoon Ayurvedic tea is available.
You can join cooking classes or visit Haridwar and Devpriyag. Shopping is always an option during your free time.

It is a five-hour trip by Shatabdi Express from New Delhi railway station to Haridwar. Then, you can take a taxi from Haridwar to Rishikesh (one hour). Om Sampoorn Yoga will meet you at the ashram.
