Would you like to learn how to give a complete massage to the whole body? Would you like to learn a wonderful and very effective technique that masterfully combines deep tissue massage with a stretching therapy based on yoga? This comprehensive training of 60 hours is open to all persons interested in the art of touch and in manual therapies. At the end of the course in Ibiza, Spain, you will get a certificate and will be able to provide a 90-minute massage to the whole body.

You will reside at Camping Es Cana. There are two kinds of wood bungalows at Camping Es Cana, both with two beds. You can choose to stay either in Cabanitas or Barrels.


This program will teach you on how to provide a 90-minute massage to the whole body by using deep massage with essential oils, stretching and assisted movements taken from yoga and dance, breath work, and energy work.

The learning process follows step by step the complete Ayurvedic yoga massage technique as it has been created and developed by the teacher Kusum Modak through the fusion of Indian traditional Ayurvedic massage in combination with lots of stretching for the opening and re-alignment of the body structure based on the yoga of B.K.S. Iyengar. The result is a therapeutic massage treatment in which the work of deep oil massage becomes a preparation according to the stretching and passive asanas (body positions). It is how to give and receive a deep yoga session at all levels.

Alongside, Naseem combines his long professional experience in contemporary dance and contact improvisation to teach reading and feel the possibilities and limits of each body movement and also to convey a sense of fluidity, rhythm, and care of movements so that the massage also becomes an artistic gesture to give and to receive a dance of the hands and fingers on a skin carpet.


Meditation moments and meditation techniques are also essential in the training to share and pass that the more fundamental aspect of a therapeutic gesture is a meditative state and total presence and dedication, combined with a sense of the sacredness of the moment and the fundamental connection with the heart. It is this state of ‘loving presence’ the carrier pillar on which the whole learning process and further the therapeutic practice can lean on and develop to give (and give oneself) care and healing.

Topics of the course

  • Comfortable and safe positions to perform fluid movements starting from the center-hara, using the weight of the body and in harmony with the breath
  • Basic anatomy of the human body
  • Main energetic meridians and muscle chains connected to them
  • Massage with different positions and use of the hand, wrist, fingers, knuckles, forearm, and elbow
  • Massage with the feet and walk on the back to give a deeper massage in economy of effort
  • Use of oil to lubricate and thinning the stimulation
  • Use of Ayurvedic Calamus powder (Vakhand) to tighten friction and stimulate blood circulation
  • Specific stretching to mobilize the spine, open all the joints, and thus realign the entire body structure
  • Recognizing and dealing with the causes of pain and tension away from their symptoms
  • Understanding the movements and the limits of the body and the indications and contraindications of each massage and manual stretching
  • Feeling the body in its energy flows and recognizing and releasing energy blockades
  • Feeling the needs of the receiver to calibrate pressure and strategy of action
  • Dissolving chronic pain in the lower back, neck, and shoulders
  • Helping the receiver to breathe openly and deeply
  • Self-massage techniques to recognize and know how to address the most common points of tension
  • Holistic approach and interconnection between body, mind, and spirit-soul
  • Working in a meditative state of calm and total presence and dedication
  • How to promote yourself professionally and how to build a loyal clientele


Naseem Roberto Baffa
Naseem is an International bodywork therapist and coach, Reiki master, and dance performer and teacher. In 2005, he received an honors degree in Philosophy from Università Statale di Milano. Since 1995, he spends a part of the year living in India where he also practices yoga, Reiki, and Meditation and in 2001, Naseem has trained with the renowned master Kusum Modak in Pune, India, specializing in Ayurvedic yoga massage. He has found this method to be very effective at relieving pain and helping people to feel their full energy potential and revitalized at different levels.
