You will be staying at the quiet Nice Sea Resort or the Seaview Rainbow Resort just meters away from the most astonishing unspoiled beaches along the ocean. Both resorts have 10 single cottages, all with private bathrooms and air-conditioning.

Instructores

Oliver Michael
Oliver has been practicing yoga for the last 17 years and teaching nationally and internationally. As a non-assuming teacher, he has trained students from all walks of life from all over the world with his self-developed, easy to learn the style. With a traditional western background, he has studied Hatha yoga since 1999. He has studied and been initiated by well-known yoga master, Swami Dayananda, the disciple of Swami Rama of Arunachala.
Luisa Zamora
Luisa is a primary school teacher and Spanish and English yoga instructor. While living in Madrid, Spain, she has been acting for many years at Teatro William Layton. She began her yoga journey in Spain and has continued over the years to expand her training in India with different teachers and different disciplines, creating her own methodology. She has visited the Himalayan mountains with Oliver for many years between 2008 and 2015 while practicing silence (Antar Mouna) for month high up after the last village of Gargi in the Parvati valley.

Destino del retiro

This retreat will take place in the beautiful, wooden-floor yoga shala in the holistic and spiritual area of Srithanu, Koh Phangan Island, Thailand. Koh Phangan, one of Thailand’s smaller islands in the Gulf of Thailand, is known for its palm-fringed beaches, mountainous rain forest and circling coconut groves. It is also home to the famous Full-Moon parties, spas, vegan restaurants, and diving schools that often attracts a backpacker crowd.

Alimentos

You are what you eat, and therefore, Namaste Yoga Farm wants you to eat healthy, happy food that is prepared with love by Luisa. Her salads are famous on the island. You will have fresh delicious fruits, vegetables, and other healthy ingredients from the local farmers' market that you could wish for and of course as much as possible organic.

All food is included, from breakfast, lunch, to dinner, and during the week, a very much appreciated tradition of cooking together is developed. This is a wonderful way to get to know each other and get inspired with delicious yogic, vegetarian recipes. If you have special dietary requirements, it is a good idea to communicate it to the organizer when making a reservation.

Actividades opcionales

Diving

Most people associate diving with Koh Phangan’s neighboring island, Koh Tao. However, what a lot of people don not realize is that some of the dive sites that you can reach from Koh Tao are the same sites your visit when in Koh Phangan. Dive sites like the Southwest Pinnacle and Sail Rock are half way in the middle and are great sites to explore. For those that are just looking to go snorkeling, checking out some of the beaches in Haad Salad and Haad Ya.

Rent a motorbike and explore

Although it is not recommended to try to find Bottle Beach via motorbike, it is recommended renting one and taking it around the island for a spin. Riding bikes are the cheapest and best way to see a place. Koh Phangan itself is very steep and hilly so experienced riders are recommended.

One of the best viewpoints is the hill with a lovely view of Haad Son. If you are coming from Had Chao Phao, head towards Haad Yao. Keep riding down and soon you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of the island.

Chase waterfalls

Go chasing waterfalls while you are in Koh Phangan. There are about seven different waterfalls in Koh Phangan, all relatively close to the main towns. Please do note that a lot of the waterfalls dry up during off season. However, if you are up for a nature trip, do check out Saramanora waterfalls, Phaeng, Thaan Prapaad, Thaan Sadet, Wangsai, Paradise and Thaan Prawes waterfalls.

Treat yourself to some deep relaxation with the in-house massage therapist or work on re-balancing your energy with a hands-on-healing session.

¿Cómo llegar?

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Bangkok International Airport (BKK), Samui International Airport (USM), or Surathani Airport (URT). From the airport, you can take a taxi to the pier for 40 EUR or a bus for 5 EUR.

From Bangkok International Airport (BKK), you can fly again to Samui International Airport (USM) or Surathani Airport (URT) or take a taxi or bus to Kao San Road, and there you will find a bus to Koh Phanganor Tongsala for 20 EUR.

Arrival by ferry

Ferries leave at Donsak, about an hour from Surathani Airport, and arrive at Thongsala on Koh Phangan about two and a half hours later. Namaste Yoga Farm will pick you up at the ferry.
