You will be staying on the property in the quiet Nice resort just meters away from the most astonishing unspoiled beaches along the Ocean. The Resort has 4 single cottages (all with private bathroom), fan and is only meters away from the beach.

Hatha - Vinyasa

Our sessions will enhance your Hatha Yoga with alignment from the Iyengar methods. We will incorporate the flow aspect of Vinyasa and will pay careful attention to each student's unique body structure and experience.

Scuba divining

Sail Rock ('Hin Bai' in Thai) is the premier scuba diving site in the Gulf of Thailand. Situated an hour and a half boat ride from Koh Tao, we offer this popular dive site as a full day trip 2 times during your stay with 4 dives. Sail Rock rises up to 8 meters out of the water and the dive site has a maximum depth of over 40 meters. The actual rock wall drops down to below 20 meters, where it meets sand that gradually banks away. We organize equipment and insurance.

Trekking

Up to Khao Ra, the highest peak on Koh Phangan, Khao Ra stands at 630 meters and offers a fantastic viewpoint overlooking Chaloklum and Thong Nai Pan for those willing to climb to the top. On a good day with clear visibility, you can see Koh Tao. The route is not too strenuous, but the path can be difficult to follow at times. On the way, we will pass a waterfall.

  • Oliver Michael

    Oliver has been practicing yoga for the last 17 years and teaching nationally and internationally. As a non-assuming teacher, he has trained students from all walks of life from all over the world with his self-developed, easy to learn the style. With a traditional western background, he has studied Hatha yoga since 1999. He has studied and been initiated by well-known yoga master, Swami Dayananda, the disciple of Swami Rama of Arunachala.

  • Luisa Zamora

    Luisa is a primary school teacher and Spanish and English yoga instructor. While living in Madrid, Spain, she has been acting for many years at Teatro William Layton. She began her yoga journey in Spain and has continued over the years to expand her training in India with different teachers and different disciplines, creating her own methodology. She has visited the Himalayan mountains with Oliver for many years between 2008 and 2015 while practicing silence (Antar Mouna) for month high up after the last village of Gargi in the Parvati valley.

  • Adam Philips

    Adam first encountered Kalarippayat in 2001, aged 21. He had little idea of how to control himself: neither his movement nor emotions. After just two months practice he was impressed at how grounded and balanced his body felt. He decided to go to Kerala, where this martial art originally came from. Accepted as a student of Kerala Kalarippayat Academy (KKA), he began training under Gurukkal C.M Sherif and have continued to practice since then, with over four years of the last 15, spent alongside his Gurukkal in India.

This retreat will take place in the beautiful, wooden floor yoga shala in the holistic and spiritual area of Srithanu, Koh Phangan Island, Thailand. Koh Phangan, one of Thailand’s smaller islands in the Gulf of Thailand, is known for its palm-fringed beaches, mountainous rainforest and circling coconut groves. It is also home to the famous Full-Moon parties, spas, vegan restaurants and diving schools that often attracts a backpacker crowd.

"You are what you eat," and therefore NYF wants you to eat healthy, happy food that is prepared with love from Luisa (her salads are famous on the island). You will have fresh delicious fruits, vegetables and other healthy ingredients from the local farmers' market that you could wish for and of course as much as possible organic. All food is included, and during the week a very much appreciated tradition of cooking together is developed. A wonderful way to get to know each other and get inspired with delicious yogic, vegetarian recipes.

Rent a Motorbike and Explore

Although we don’t recommend trying to find Bottle Beach via motorbike, we do recommend renting one and taking it around the island for a spin. Riding bikes are the cheapest and best way to see a place! Koh Phangan itself is very steep and hilly so experienced riders are recommended. One of the best viewpoints? A hill with a lovely view of Haad Son. If you’re coming from Had Chao Phao, head towards Haad Yao. Keep riding down and soon you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of the island.

Go Chasing Waterfalls

Go chasing waterfalls while you’re in Koh Phangan. There are about 7 different waterfalls in Koh Phangan, all relatively close to the main towns. Please do note that a lot of the waterfalls dry up during offseason. However, if you are up for a nature trip, do check out Saramanora waterfalls, Phaeng, Thaan Prapaad, Thaan Sadet, Wangsai, Paradise and Thaan Prawes waterfalls.

The Market is consisting of varieties of art items, souvenirs, clothing and accessories, groceries, food, decorations, all kinds of Snacks and an alive environment. Many stands & small shops all along the road, all offering a variety of everything WITH accessories and of course delicious Thai food.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Samui International Airport (USM) or Surat Thani International Airport (URT). Taxi fare from the airport costs 40 EUR to the pier, while bus fare costs 5 EUR.

From Bangkok International Airport (BKK), fly to Samui International Airport (USM) or Surat Thani International Airport (URT) or take a taxi or bus to Kao San road and there, you will find a bus to Koh Phangan or Tongsala for 20 EUR.

Arrival by ferry

Ferries leave at Donsak about one hour from Surat Thani International Airport (URT) and arrive at Thongsala on Koh Phangan about two hours 30 minutes later. Ferry pick up is included in the price.
