Your Bangkok hotel will be located in the heart of Thonglor / Sukhumvit Soi, Bangkok's up, and coming neighborhood. Full of trendy cafes, shops, and dining options, many expats choose to live in Thonglor because of its hipster vibe and easy accessibility to the rest of Bangkok.
In Phuket, you will be staying at one of the very few boutique resorts located directly on the beach in pristine Cape Panwa (the southeast corner of the island). The beach resort was just built in March of 2017 so your glass shower, fluffy bed, and flat screen TV will all feel brand new. Two of Asia's top-rated spas are just minutes from the resort. Panwa Village and historic, old Phuket Town are an easy (and complimentary) shuttle ride away. You can relax in a modern deluxe room or spoil yourself with a private pool or Jacuzzi room upgrade. In both Bangkok and Phuket, rooms with one king bed or two double beds are available.
The Western lifestyle has you constantly giving and on the go. When was the last time you were able to really take a breather, step out of your routine, and nourish your mind, body, and soul? The Eastern part of the world reminds you to live in the present, cherishing every sight, smell, taste, and sound. Together, you will re-discover what it means to really live!
You meet your fellow travelers in Bangkok. Check-in to your hotel and enjoy cocktails at the Octave Rooftop bar with magical views of the bustling streets below. Your next two days will be spent exploring this vibrant city. Get around town on the BTS metro or in a colorful tuk-tuk. Visit the famous floating markets, experience a monk water blessing, explore temples, sample street food, shop the mega-malls, and explore local markets until your heart is content.
Hop on a one-hour flight to beautiful Phuket, the most visited island in Thailand. Check-in to your chic beachside resort and enjoy a local welcome dinner together. Catch up on some rest with a Thai massage on the beach or take a late night ride to crazy Bangla Road to experience the nightlife that this island is famous for.
The rest of your week will be spent practicing yoga (one to two times daily) and meditation with magnificent views of pristine Cape Panwa, luxury spa treatments, encounters with elephants, a private speedboat ride through the breathtaking limestone cliffs of the Andaman Sea, exploring temples, shopping local markets, and joining countless optional excursions. The itinerary allows total flexibility so you can explore the island or completely chill out whenever you please.

You will be visiting two locations in Thailand during this trip so that you can truly get the full Thai experience. Your first three days will be spent in bustling Bangkok which has something for everyone from ultra-modern shopping and nightlife to old world charm, iconic temples, and cuisine. Bangkok is a city that will spark a love inside you and has you wanting to come back for more.
Staying at a chic beachside resort, your next six days will be spent in the southeastern corner of beautiful Phuket Island. Of all the islands in Thailand, Phuket offers the most culture and diversity.
In Thailand, the options for spa treatments are literally endless. This is the world's Mecca for spas and Bangkok does not disappoint. There are literally massage shops on every corner where you can enjoy a full-hour foot massage for under 12 USD. You can also choose to spoil yourself at one of the many high-end spas throughout the city.
In Phuket, Michelle Ruiz chose to stay on the southern tip of the island because two of Asia's top-rated spas are minutes from the resort. These are the spas that fantasies are made of. Think Tibetan singing bowls, chakra alignment, salt-rock caves, hibiscus baths, the world's only Thai hammam, four-hand massages, body scrubs made with local coconuts, and more. If you prefer to take a more casual route, there will be local ladies just outside the hotel ready to massage your cares away pool or beachside.
Please book your flight to arrive at Bangkok International Airport (BKK). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request.
It is very important that you do not book your interior flight until Michelle has provided you with appropriate departure times. Hotel limo service is available for a fee. You will receive an email with detailed information on how to get to the hotel once you have registered. Michelle and Nelson will be waiting to greet you in the hotel lobby upon your arrival.
You can also opt to take the Bangkok Airport Link Train.
Bangkok International Airport (BKK) is a huge, modern airport with very organized taxi systems. You can hire a taxi for approx 12 USD to your hotel which is a 15 to 20-minute ride.
