Also, this is the perfect opportunity to deepen your own practice and to gain new inspiration and experience.
The warm waters of Costa Rica are the perfect environment to learn how to surf or take your surfing skills to the next level. The local instructors will help improve your skill, confidence, safety, as well as rules and etiquette in the water. There will be three surf lessons for all levels and daily surfboard rental that is included in the surf package. Moreover, you will also be taught how to choose the right surfboard and your surfing adventures will be captured in a video.
By participating this retreat, you will receive 50-Hour certification from Yoga Alliance in Rocket yoga.
The Rocket was developed by Larry Schultz in the 90’s while on tour with the Grateful Dead. Larry resequenced the poses from the first, second, and third Ashtanga series and created a new flow with focus on the joints of the body and the days of the week. By doing this, he also created a more holistic approach to a regular Ashtanga practice.
Your body will experience more than 140 poses during one week of consistent Rocket practice, as well as the chance to try arm balances, inversions, and back bend at an earlier stage of your yoga practice. The Rocket is all about leaving your comfort zone, to be creative, and to strengthen your body from the inside out.
