Recomendable.

"Thanks for the wonderful stay!"
Everything. The place is quiet and peaceful. The accommodation is beautiful and made with love. The family is lovely, nice and helpful. The Yoga-Teacher was excellent and powerful. Everyday they prepared really good, healthy and fresh food. The perfect place to become more mindful in life. I wish I could stay longer.

"Growing environmental and spiritual awareness "
More than a Yoga Retreat, I would say that it was an experience of practicing yoga in the most amazing and beautiful environment, where Juan and Carla have built a beautiful eco friendly houses to welcome their guests and delight them with benefits of organic vegetarian food. I felt deeply welcomed and cared everyday.
Besides the excellent yoga lessons, we had other workshops and the chance to participate in the eco farm.
The place is not that far from the airport and from Buenos Aires, so you can also combine this retreat with some other tours in Argentina.
I highly recommend this retreat to people who are in the yoga learning path and searching for lifestyle inspiration.

"A paradise of peacefulness on earth"
The whole retreat was beyond our expectations.
First, the classes of Juan and the others teachers are great, it is also for advanced people. I especially loved the spiritual side that Juan puts into his classes, with his whole heart. I could progress a lot during this week.
Second, Carla is an incredible dancer, always willing to help and do her best for your comfort.
Third, the love that Carla and Juan put into their farm is felt, I could relax a lot and think with peacefulness.
Finally, the food. No words. Simply fresh and delicious. SUPER RICO ! The majorities of the ingredients come from the garden.
I would definitely recommend it and will come back as soon as I have an opportunity !

"Found my peace at Tierras de Avalon"
Juan and Carla were very welcoming - and I felt at home right away. They offered different types of yoga classes, from very relaxing hatha to intense ashtanga. Besides that I got to take a belly dancing class with Carla, an archery class, go cycling, and listen in on their workshops. The food was amazing every single time, but the best part was the people: Juan and Carla, their daughters, and the other guests made it an unforgettable experience.

"Quiete and restoring place"
I spend one week in Tierras de Avalon I had a lots of time for me. I did meditation, I read and did yoga almost twice a day. It’s not for beginners, Juan is a great teacher but some lessons are so intense explicitly ashtanga style.

"Yoga Retrear Review "
This is one of the coolest farms I have every seen. The way they live really makes you rethink a lot about your own life. They were very accommodating and made you feel at home. Both Juan and Carla speak English making it easy to talk and get to know them. Would definitely recommend this to anyone seeking a get away!

"An Active yet Restful Retreat"
The yoga classes were great and the food was awesome. Juan and Carla were so welcoming and kind hearted; I left after 2 weeks feeling like I was leaving close friends. The spiritual family-centric environment they have created is one we should all strive to emulate.

"Lovely family, but it is a retreat for advanced students"
Carla, Juan and the four girls are wonderful. Without them the retreat would not be complete. They were extremely hospitable and their cooking was amazing! The yoga was also to a very high standard.
The retreat was OKAY (not as good as expected).
The family running it were wonderful and very nice - especially Carla, who was very warm, but it felt more like visiting a family members house instead of a retreat. It was very informal, with most nights eating around the family dinner table with the little kiddies, or being in tow whilst Juan tended to personal errands. The farm itself is beautiful, but it was quite noisy with the neighbours house under construction, the kids running around in the garden and loads of dogs barking, especially at night.
The weekend event was very interesting with Andre coming to do the voice om'ing and voice guided meditation which I loved, but unfortunately, the entire thing was in advanced Spanish and so I was not able to fully take advantage of what was being said. My Spanish is conversational level and I mentioned this to Juan that I'm having a hard time understanding some of the yoga moves/meditation etc, but unfortunately Juan's English was basic and it was all conducted in advanced Spanish which I couldn't understand. A lot of the time I had to guess what was happening and follow the crowd.
They advertise that they speak English and I was under the impression that the classes would be done in Spanish and English, but unfortunately it was only in Spanish for the entire week. They did provide me with a free massage to compensate for this, which was very nice of them. After spending a whole week on the farm, Juan didn't come to say goodbye when I left, which I was disappointed in.
It depends on what you're looking for - if you're up for a very, VERY informal break on a farm with advanced Spanish yoga classes and delicious food, then this is the place, but don't expect a retreat. I definitely came back feeling more flexible, but not as relaxed as I had hoped.
