There are 2 kinds of accommodation that you can choose on this retreat which are dorms or beachfront rooms. They are available with different prices. La Palapa Yoga Retreats carefully assigns rooms and bunking up with other retreat goers in order to foster community building. You will be paired by gender with the exceptions of couples, friends traveling together, and family, so make sure you let them know by send them an inquiry. Any roommates must purchase tickets first, then contact teachers to request sharing their room. All pricing and room availability is based on first come, first serve.

La Palapa Yoga Retreats Mexico Yoga Retreat Program

The Resoulutions Retreat is a transformative conscious living experience. This retreat is your getaway to bring back the new you. You will learn mindfulness and resilience, get balanced, and transcend. This retreat will also provide you with space and time to relax your body through yoga, meditation, and communing with nature so your inner world may take the center stage.

The outer experience of peace will support and allow you to go to work inside as well as to transform. Additionally, Sylvie and Ana will lead the meditation, asana and pranayama practices, teach to the level of the class, offer variations, and make all feel included.

Saturday evening is scheduled for arrivals and check-in, followed by dinner and opening fire ceremony. The next day, on Sunday afternoon, Sylvie Lacourciere will have a session regarding "Breaking down the ego". On Tuesday afternoon, Ana Zarzosa will deliver a session regarding "Your body in yoga: Physiological effects of meditation, pranayama, and asana practices". On Wednesday afternoon, you will have an Acro yoga session which is jam with the Pacific Coast Acro Yoga Community. Afterward, on the evening, you will have a new moon closing ceremony.

Daily Schedule

  • 08:00 - 08:30 Tea break with hot lime, tea, coffee, or golden coffee
  • 08:30 - 09:00 Meditation and pranayama with mindful meditation and breathing exercises
  • 09:00 - 10:00 Yoga with active Vinyasa or Hatha flow practice
  • 10:00 - 10:30 Break (short break to change, rest, or wander before brunch)
  • 10:30 - 12:00 Brunch with healthy yet hearty brunch with vegan options offered
  • 12:00 - 13:00 Free time (leisure time to enjoy the sun, nap, or simply rest)
  • 13:00 - 15:00 Workshops and activities with several workshops to be announced, paddle boarding, surf lesson, or massages upon request in advance
  • 15:00 - 17:00 Free time or activity (enjoy rest or take part in an activity of your choice)
  • 17:00 - 18:00 Yoga with Restorative or Yin practice
  • 18:00 - 18:30 Break (short break to change, rest, or wander before dinner)
  • 18:30 - 20:00 Dinner with healthy dinner for all dietary preferences
  • 20:00 - 21:00 Opening and closing ceremonies


Ana Zarzosa
Ana received her yoga teacher certification (200-hour RYT) from Sampoorna Yoga TM in Goa, India, in November 2013. She believes yoga is all about increasing one awareness, using your physical practice as a tool for self-discovery is just the first step in achieving your higher purpose. Vinyasa flow is her favorite personal practice and also teaching flavor. She enjoys studying and teaching the anatomical foundations as well as the physiological benefits of yoga, therefore, she tries to convey this knowledge to guide her students safely throughout the practice.
Sylvie Lacourcière
Having practiced before, during, and after recovery from illness has endowed her with an intimate understanding of the body and a spiritual understanding of the connection between body, mind, and spirit. Drawing on over 6 years experience in such diverse yoga styles as Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa flow, and Yin, she crafts her classes for a wide range of participant abilities and offers variations and making all feel included. With an expanded knowledge of meditation techniques and refined empathy, Sylvie offers her students the opportunity to embark on a journey of physical and spiritual growth.

Destino del retiro

This retreat will take place at La Palapa Yoga Retreats, Punta Negra, Nayarit, Mexico.


All meals served on this retreat are healthy, local, and adapted to several dietary preferences. Brunch will be served at 10.30 a.m to 12 p.m, snacks at 1 p.m onward, and dinner at 6.30 p.m to 8 p.m.

¿Cómo llegar?

Arrival by airplane

Please arrive at Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR) in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. From the airport, you can go to the retreat place by taxi, car or by bus. If you go by taxi or car, first you head towards the road La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Punta Mita. At the Litibú road crossing, make a right on the four-lane Boulevard, on the second return, take a left to the dirt road. Then, head straight and go along the path towards the left. After you pass the first public entrance to the beach, next to Hotel Casa de Mita, keep driving for 400 meters and you will arrive at the place. If you go by bus, first take the bus to Punta Mita outside the airport. Once you get to Punta Mita town, you’d have to take a Taxi to get to the venue as described above.
