Enjoy an inspirational recharge on the shores of the powerful Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, using cacao, yoga and creative expression to transmute blockages and empower your intention for your new year. Whether you are searching for more clarity in your life’s work, experiencing physical, emotional, mental or creative blockages, or an artist, musician or writer simply looking for inspiration and space, this five-night journey fosters release, rejuvenation, and empowerment to continue on your own sacred life path.
On this retreat, you will be provided five nights of accommodation. The accommodation will be in simple, rustic and comfortable cabins with stunning views. Private or shared rooms (two-person sharing) are available, with shared toilets and cold spring water showers. Views of the volcanoes, lake, and surrounding mountains are abundant. You will also have access to a 10-person traditional wood fired sauna, cold pool, and shower.
To stand in the space at Eagle's Retreats is to invite magic, and the mega-volcano itself, containing the whole lake and its three pyramid-shaped volcanoes, maybe has something to do with the intensity of the energy and feelings that awaken when you stand on the edge of the Eagle's Nest platform.
The centerpiece is “The Nest”, a handcrafted tropical wood platform space. It is a masterpiece, built to cradle, support, and inspire its patrons to connect with their highest inspirations, aspirations, and innate pearls of wisdom.
Imagine waking up to breathtaking beauty, practicing yoga high above the volcano-ringed Lake Atitlan, sharing rich, heart-opening cacao while sharing transformative creative practices with a group of inspirational beings. Imagine slipping back into a flow that lets creative power channel through you, that lets everything fit into place perfectly, and that carries you effortlessly on your path. Imagine being free to polish your own natural radiance, expressing your sacred creative potential and embracing the full, sparkling being that you are, without worrying about what others might think.
This retreat will call magic into your life to spark inspiration and wonder back into daily experience. Whether you are stuck or searching for more clarity in your life, working through emotional or creative blockages, or an artist, musician, or writer looking for space, connection, and inspiration, this four-day journey fosters release, rejuvenation, and empowerment to continue on your own sacred life path.
You only have to bring your curious, open heart, and the retreat will provide a space for self-discovery, transformation, and reconnection to your deep inner wisdom.
Each day on this retreat, you will practice yoga and meditation on Eagle’s Retreat’s magnificent open-air deck, drawing on the majesty of the stunning volcanoes and cacao, Guatemala’s powerful, heart-opening medicine, to sink into a space of deep connection. Also, you will have one free afternoon and one free morning for your own extracurricular activities.
You will use this connection to open the heart and ignite your creative instincts, in order to access the Flow State of your deep self and recognize the next steps in your personal work. You will be guided by the inspiring lead of international facilitator, yoga teacher, writer, and artist Jiya Julia Randall, along with other local teachers and creators.
Mornings will be spent together, exploring various techniques and tools to access the flow state, a state of pure connection where we become a channel for something greater to work through us. We use this flow state for intuitive, creative expression through music, art, and writing as well as a manifestation of our bigger dreams. Through art, a journey unfolds one of personal transformation, discovery, and empowerment. Afternoons will offer peace and space to create, immersed in quietness and beauty and inspired by others’ work.
Basic art materials will be provided, but it is recommended that you bring instruments, writing books, and any art materials you normally use. The retreat opens and closes with a shamanic fire ceremony to release the old and call in your highest expression of yourself. The retreat will provide you the guidance, the support, and the inspiration as you create your own space.
