You will be accommodated in Sunny Bay. It is a family-run beachfront hotel located in the secluded area of Kissamos bay. The hotel offers multiple amenities like an outdoor pool, garden, terrace, poolside bar, restaurant, room service, a lounge, and free Wi-Fi.
The complex lies in an idyllic position in the bay of Kissamos, 37 kilometers west of Chania, and just ten minutes from the center of Kissamos town on foot. All the rooms are have two twin beds and a balcony with a wonderful view of the crystal clear blue sea or of the nice hotel's swimming pools areas.
The morning and evening yoga and meditation classes will be held in the hotel facing the sea front, and on some occasions on the beachfront itself. The classes are open to everyone from beginners and intermediate yogis. You will be practicing a range of styles and practices, including Hatha, Vinyasa flow, yoga Nidra, pranayama, breath work, and meditation.
You will enjoy four leisurely-paced walks of light to medium difficulty lasting from two and a half hours to four hours. These will take place along the beaches, in the hills, the valleys, the town of Kissamos, and the surrounding area, as well as going through traditional villages and little-known ancient sites. You will be guided by Active Crete, experienced walkers Camille and Iakovos, who will share their knowledge on the local geography and flora.
Each expedition starts at 10:00 a.m. at the hotel and ends at about 2:00 p.m. at the hotel. Each walk has regular rest stops. There is always the freedom to opt out from any of the walks, or the yoga and meditation sessions.

Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga)
Krishna started learning about yoga in her teens. She moved to London in 2003 to pursue a degree in science, which gave her the opportunity to learn more about yoga. In 2013, she completed a 200-Hour Vinyasa and Hatha yoga teacher trainer course in Laxmi yoga teacher training with Sally Parkes in London and Spain. She also completed Sally's 85-Hour Pregnancy yoga teacher training course in 2014 and she registered with Yoga Alliance professionals. She currently resides in Amsterdam where she teaches at a few yoga studios and run retreats in Spain.
Camille is an English artist who speaks Greek, English, French, and a bit of German. She has had several solo shows and has taken part in many group exhibitions. Her work is in private and public collections and she has carried out many private commissions.
Iakovos is a Greek engineer who speaks Greek, English, and German. He has been a walker all his life and had his first contact with the wonderful mountains and landscapes of western Crete when he was a child. He is familiar with the local fauna and flora and knows where to find the endemic plants, and where to find the best herbs in season: mint, thyme, rosemary, capers, and other greens. He has a detailed knowledge of the local history and culture.
Olga (www.yolga.nl) discovered yoga not long ago in Bulgaria, where she is born. She is one of these people who was lucky to find their path after being torn between working as a lawyer, family life and her personal interests, which were impossible to handle all together without stress. At first yoga helped her face the stress but very soon it became her passion and true devotion. Her curiosity and eagerness to learn and explore brought her through different traditions, styles and teachings. Every yoga class attended, every book read, revealed to her a bit of philosophy and a lot of inspirat
This retreat will take place in Kissamos, Greecee. Kissamos is a small town located on the north west coast of Crete.
You will be served welcome dinner and wide spread buffet breakfasts. For other meals, the hotel has a restaurant which serves meals. There are multiple restaurants and Greek tavernas are just 10 to 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Meals in Crete are not expensive. Average meal will cost you around 10 EUR including a drink, and it will have a wide variety of vegetarian food.
During this retreat, you will have plenty of free time to go out for lunch, relaxing, enjoying the beach and / or swimming. You can also enjoy your evenings in the nearby tavernas. Apart from that, you can also rest or do further walking or sightseeing on your own. You could enjoy the many attractions of Chania, or visit famous Balos beach by a short boat trip or hire a car to explore further a field.
Apart from enjoying the remote beaches and visiting the local town, there are plenty of historical sites, museums, and villages to visit. You can also visit olive oil factories and do some wine tasting.
Please book your flight to arrive at Chania International Airport (CHQ). Transfer from the airport is included. Krish Yoga will pick you up from the airport. You can fly to Athens and take a direct flight to Chania airport in Crete.
