Located about a 10-minute walk from the Palace and the main center of Ubud, Lilacita Inn is a beautiful Balinese home stay that gives you the ability to be close to town, yet still have the opportunity to experience true Balinese culture.

MARCH 8: Arrival Day: The fun is just beginning

MARCH 9: Friday: First full day

  • Morning Hatha Yoga Session, followed by brunch
  • Visit to the Sacred Monkey Forest, and time to explore Ubud on your own
  • Afternoon Meditation Session, followed by refreshments
  • Leisure and dinner time on your own

The Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud is a nature reserve and temple complex which houses approximately 340 long-tailed Macaque monkeys. Watch the monkeys at play as you stroll through the serene and clean forest air. Explore the extensive species of trees and take in the natural beauty of this peaceful sanctuary.

MARCH 10: Saturday: Second day underway

The Jatiluwih Rice Terrace, a UNESCO world heritage site, is a must-see on any Balinese trip. Though it’s a further trek from Ubud than the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, the stunning views are worth the extra drive. Located in the western part of the island at the foot of Mount Batukaru, the cool highlands and breathtaking scenery of the terraces are a soothing retreat from the tourist crowds.

MARCH 11: Sunday: Third day or midway

  • Optional Bhuta Shuddhi add-on session in the evening
  • Refreshments, followed by some leisure and dinner time on your own

Ceremony with High Priestess: Water is one of the most mysterious and sacred elements, abundant both in the environment and within our physical bodies. For Balinese Hindus, water purification is an important cleansing ceremony and is offered at various water temples throughout the region.

On this day, you will undergo an exhilarating ceremony with Bali’s only High Priestess. This will also be a great preparation for your evening Bhuta Shuddhi (Five Elements Purification) class.

MARCH 12: Monday: Fourth day, hike the trail

Embark on a scenic hike along the serene, green Campuhan Ridge nature trail where you’ll see some of the gorgeous hillside slopes and vista in the area. Surrounded by greenery all around, the walk takes you past the majestic Pura Gunung Lebah temple complex, over the Campuhan River, and into the vast hills of the valley hinterland.

Enjoy a visit to a beautiful water temple located in the region of Bangli. Set on a river in the mountains, this spot is not on the typical tourist trail and therefore, a nice hidden gem. Submerge yourself in the purifying waters, which are said to cleanse one of all impurities, followed by some meditation time and a Balinese offering with the temple priest.

Journey to the stunning Uluwatu Temple, located in the picturesque southwest part of the island. Isha School of Hatha Yoga (Hatha Yoga)
After reading “Autobiography of a Yogi” and realizing that humans have much more potential than we’re bred to believe, Shayla decided to leave her limiting lifestyle and embark on a long inner journey. In 2008, she took off on a solo trek to India, hoping to tap into the deeper dimensions of life. After taking yoga, meditation and Ayurveda courses in India and travelling for a few years, she came across the wisdom of self-realized yogi and mystic, Sadhguru. That's when her true transformation started to take shape. After taking many yoga courses at Isha, she decided to immerse in teaching.

¿Cómo llegar?

Arrival by airplane

Our retreat will be held in Ubud - the cultural capital of Bali. You will fly in to Denpasar Airport (DPS) and we'll provide free airport shuttle on your arrival and departure days. Once you book, you just need to give Hatha Yoga Retreats the details of your flight and they will arrange the rest. They will also have a taxi on-site each day to take you on your group excursions and to drop participants off to the main area of Ubud during your leisure times.
