Special surf yoga sessions are designed to benefit your surf practice and help to prevent sore muscles after a surf day. The team is composed of people who travel a lot and know the importance of being well received and followed up when you come to a country that is not yours.
Special Hatha yoga postures help to strengthen the key physical points to the surfing practice, such as arms, legs, back, and wrists, minimizing the risk of injuries and improving recovery time after a surf session. It helps you to focus your mind and supports your balance on the board.

Sami is a professional surfer born in Ericeira. He will be the main instructor during the stay. He tries to adapt the classes to the students so that they have fun and learn the maximum. He has been teaching since he was 16 years old. He has worked as a surf coach all over the world. In addition to being certified as a surf instructor, he also has certification as a lifeguard, a stand up paddle instructor, and as a surf coach.
Sansão is one of the surf instructors during your stay. Her background is architecture, however, she dedicated herself to surfing a few years ago. She is certified as a surf teacher and has been teaching in Ericeira since the beginning of her training.
Lisa is a yoga teacher. For her, yoga is a way to get closer to her real self and to enable the flow of energy. The first step is to enjoy the body postures, a conscious breathing (pranayama), and concentration (dharana).
This retreat will take place in Ericeira, Portugal. Early in the morning, the misty veil slowly rains over the Portuguese Atlantic Coast and the first rays of sunlight fall warmly over the Surf Riders Camp, dipping the flowers and palm trees in the garden into a light morning blush. The chirping of the little birds is the only noise you hear.
Nestled amongst the rolling fields of lush green vegetation, standing the villas of the guesthouse Surf Riders Surf Camp, overlooking the region of Ericeira. There, the world is still in order. Slowly the clear air mixes with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The first guests arrive at the breakfast buffet, ready for a new day in paradise.

A cheap and convenient way to get from Lisbon to Ericeira is to use the public bus. Leaving the Campo Grande in Lisbon, there is a direct connection to the center of Ericeira, the first bus leaves at 6:27 a.m. and the last at 11:40 p.m. It takes between 45 minutes (fast lane) and 85 minutes.
Coming from Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS), just take the Metro to Campo Grande. In Campo Grande, catch the bus from mafrence to Ericeira. The entire trip (Airport - Campo Grande - Ericeira Bus Terminal - walk to the Golden Heritage) can take three to four hours, depending on the time you take the bus.
A taxi from Lisbon-Ericeira and Ericeira-Lisbon can cost you between 50 to 65 EUR.
