During this retreat, you will stay in Sri Jaganatha Asrama. This house offers you a peaceful stay, away from busy over populated city of Kolkata and from the busy life of a Western lifestyle. The house is situated in the middle of fruits trees such as coconuts, banana, and mango trees that you can eat if you are in season. There are flower trees, ponds, and a beautiful garden that make you refreshed. During your stay, you will be accommodated in a shared room with two single beds. The house has two Western toilets and showers, a living room, an office, and a house temple.
To be a part of this house and the Bengali community, one of the oldest culture in the world, will be a life-time memory. It will be just home away from home. It is just your home at India where you will be most welcome. It is an ideal place for people who are searching for a spiritual peace and quietness.

During this retreat, you will join two hours of Bhagavat Gita classes every day, which will include Veda, Purana, Upanishada and Ramayana, the original verses of Mahabharatha, chanting, and its spiritual meaning. You will also learn to understand the Indian Gods and Goddesses and their rituals in practice, including original mantra, chanting, and the meaning. You will have daily morning and evening yoga classes and you will learn the original meaning of yoga, goals in life, and the explanation of the original texts.
You will also have pranayama and meditation classes daily. It is more important than all kriya to study the subject with the original text. You will have Ayurveda classes three days in a week, and you will learn to understand Ayurveda with scriptural base with original herbs and plant. Not only that, you will also do some Indian traditional vegetarian cooking practice, which will include the preparation of healthy, tasty, and easy-to-make food, the true meaning of eating.
Lastly, in the end of the retreat, you will get an Indian traditional yoga certificate to motivate you to reach out with all of your power which might be for the good purpose and benefits for whole world as well.

This retreat will take place in an area in the south of West Bengal, Kolkata. It is situated in a humble close proximity of Kolkata mega city, in the village of Kalyanpur, which is 40 kilometers from the central city and three kilometers from South Kolkata at West Bengal state. This is a place where the holy river Ganga complete her course from Himalaya to the bay of Bengal.
The place is the most holy for the Hindu people. There are millions of people gathering there in the month of January to take part in the festival of Ganga River. This is also a UNESCO world heritage site. In the area of Great Sundarban Forest, Bengal tigers have their natural habitat. Additionally, the largest mangrove forest is located in the area.

During this retreat, you will be served three vegetarian meals and one evening vegetarian snack everyday. Bottled water will be available for you all day. The meals are all freshly cooked in the asrama.
In your free time during this retreat, you can visit the in-house library where the original scriptures in Sanskrit and the chanting with its meaning are provided.
