The historic Forks of the Credit Inn was built in 1855, located in the quaint hamlet of Cataract, Caledon. The building was a general store during the early 1900’s, speakeasy during prohibition, and a restaurant during the the 80’s and 90’s.

After it was renovated and revitalized, the building has come full circle and becomes a boutique inn and new yoga retreat on the beautiful Caledon Hills. You can explore this historic landmark and the beautiful area that surrounds it. The available accommodation options are the shared quadruple room, shared triple room, semi-private room, and private room.

Avonmora

This is a large classic room with a desk and separate sitting area. You can relax in the large bathtub and appreciate the views of the garden area. You can book this room as separate twin extra large beds or as one king-sized bed plus a pull-out love seat that can accommodate three person. The room's features include en-suite bathroom, flat screen TV with cable, and free Wi-Fi.

Talulah

This is a dark and sexy room, with a glass shower with privacy curtain that overlooks the room. You can fold out the bed in the sitting room and turn it into a second bedroom, Talulah can accommodate four people. The room is designed with original pine plank floors and big arched windows.

Torlan

This room is bright and spacious, designed with original stone wall and pine plank floors. It has windows on both sides, providing a cross breeze and views of the front and back yards. You can hang out in the big globe chair and enjoy the king-sized bed at the end of the day. Torlan has a private en-suite bathroom with shower and it can accommodate two people. The room's features include a flat screen television with cable, free Wi-Fi, and a gas fireplace.

Yoki

Yoki is built in 1855 at the original stone part of the building. The room is a main-floor private room with a new claw foot, bathtub, and shower. There is also a queen-sized bed for you to relax at the end of the day and the room can accommodate two people.

During the retreat, there will be daily yoga gym classes with Kirsten, yoga flow, and tune up session. Along with other exciting activities such as hiking at the Forks of the Credit Provincial Park, biking at the park, and bonfire sessions.

There are several excursion activities during the retreat, such as visiting the Forks of the Credit Provincial Park, and enjoy biking and hiking to the falls there.

    Kirsten found fitness the way most people do, through self-loathing. She was not happy with her body or how she felt about herself. Therefore, she went on a mission that was focused on weight loss and feeding her self-sabotaging addiction to fit high-society’s mould. The journey that began because of a self-hatred and insecurity evolved into a path to love and self-acceptance. It was the feeling of accomplishment when pushing herself past her limits that slowly gave her the confidence she lacked. Kirsten was able to do something for herself that she was proud of and without relying on anyone.

This retreat will take place at the Forks of the Credit Inn, located in Caledon, Canada. The inn is only few steps away from the Forks of the Credit Provincial Park and the Elora-Cataract Trail. The venue is only a short driving distant from Osprey Valley Golf, Caledon Ski Club, and the Alton Mill Arts Center. You can take a five-minute scenic drive through Ontario, down from Forks of the Credit road to Belfountain.

During this retreat, you will be served with one breakfast, one brunch, one lunch, and two dinners. Snacks and drinks will be served to you as well. If you have special dietary requirements, make sure to inform the organizer in advance.

The food served will be gluten-free and organic, the ingredients are locally sourced when in season. For breakfast, eggs that served to you is the Ontario free-range eggs. You can ask for the specialty eggs, which is the vegetable frittata and eggs avocado.

There are plenty of activities and places for you to explore during the retreat. For instance, you can ride a bicycle to Caledon and Forks of the Credit to explore the area. The Elora-Cataract Trail is groomed and extends 45 kilometers west from the inn's front door to Erin, Hillsburgh, Belwood, Fergus, and Elora.

Moreover, fishing is permitted in Forks of the Credit. You can check for more information ragarding the Ontario fishing regulations for seasons and restrictions. Furthermore, you can also try golfing at Osprey Valley Golf or other courses close by, such as the Devil’s Pulpit.

You can also visit the Belfountain Conservation area to enjoy yoga in the park, hiking, dog walking, photography (permit may be required), wedding ceremonies, and fishing. You may also explore some of the nature sightseeing places such as the suspension bridge waterfall, the Credit River, the historic fountain, flower gardens, and the newly renovated terrace area.
